The service was excellent, we were 9 people 6 adults 3 children our food was brought on time very nice and warm considering there were a lot of people in the restsurant.....we were seated within minutes .... it is the best Italian restaurant we have been to in a long time......when we come back to Colorado we will definitely come here first..... I cannot say enough...it was awesome!!!!

I admit I judge an Italian place by its lasagna and/or its pizza. Most places do one of the two really well. This place does both incredibly well. Lasagna is a huge portion, pasta tastes homemade, sauce was the right balance of savory and sweet, and they nailed proportions of meat, cheese and sauce. Even the kids meal pizza was great (and huge). I appreciate that we could get a side order of broccoli, too. You should make that a menu item for adults, not just kids-it was steamed just right! Staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

We were vacationing in town and wanted some Italian food. I read some of the reviews and gave this place a try. So glad everyone was honest with their reviews because this place was great! And on Monday nights Moms have a special lasagna dinner! I had the momma's lasagna special with garlic bread and it was DELICIOUS! Another person had the chicken Alfredo and other the pesto chicken panini all were very well liked! Sorry, didn't have room for dessert.

Awesome all around! Pasta cooked perfectly, sauce authentic, great staff and SUPER SERVICE!

After looking around for a place to eat passing through we decided upon Panino's and all left very full and satisfied. I can personally attest to the #8 Panino as fantastic. The waitress and manager were both very friendly. We would definitely be dining here again next time.

We walked in right before close and they welcomed us happily! the whole staff was so nice especially our waiter corey! the food came out quick and was soooo delicious! we got the fettuccine alfredo and the grinder panino, the noodles were high quality, the chicken was great, and the panino was so unique and tasty! 10/10 recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, special, delicious, and well priced experience with italian food

Nice place. Good food Would recommend to friends ……………

Great place! Ask for Brandy for your server!

It has been 20 years since we last ate here, so give the place five stars for tenacity. However, I am pretty certain the place has not been remodeled for at least that long. It is dark and dreary inside, the furnishings are old...the kind of old that makes you not want to touch the chairs. When the customer dining areas look like this, one cannot help but wonder what the kitchen must look like, as cleanliness does not appear to be a primary consideration. In fact, the downtown Panino's has the same dark and old issues. That said, the food was okay. The prime rib was tender but overcooked (I ordered it medium), but there was not a trace of pink in the slab I was served. It was terribly underseasoned, served with no horseradish, and appeared to be prepackaged, presliced precooked and merely warmed up in the kitchen...it just lacked the typically seasoned crust and rich flavor of a good prime rib. The lasagna was outstanding... in a good way. Very good, in fact. I had a simple martini on the rocks but couldn't tell if there was actually vodka as it tasted like mostly water. Despite the decor (or lack thereof), and the sense that it might be more sanitary to stand and eat rather than sit, the lasagna might just be the redeeming thing that brings me back into this otherwise dismal, painfully old, dirty-appearing Colorado Springs iconic Italian restaurant.

Overall was fine. They had a lot of menu options including gluten free which was nice. Service wasn’t anything special, maybe even below average. The food was alright too, absolutely edible but I wasn’t dying for seconds or anything. The building was cute and clean though. I probably wouldn’t go back though.
