This amazingly authentic ramen reminds us of living in Japan! Always so friendly, with great customer service!
The staff is so nice and the food is delicious. It tasted so fresh. I had Ramen with chicken. It’s very unnoticeable from the outside but cute from the inside. It’s a small local restaurant.
It’s decent.Ordered a Takoyaki, they were out. Ordered a Tonkotsu Ramen Bowl, they were out. So went with the Miso Ramen bowl with pork belly medium spice. Soup was almost flavorless. Wouldn’t recommend. Portion was decent. For a Japanese Ramen place I was pretty happy with the portion.Sushi: ordered the surf and turf, kingkong, and the Smokey roll. All the rolls taste great and were priced fairly. Still would come back.Atmosphere is great. Definitely don’t let the strip mall deter you.
I had no idea the Springs had Ramen this good, DAMN! Do yourself a favor and try this place. I had spicy miso tonkatsu with gyoza ... It was so good, not sure I could order anything else!
Don't let the strip mall fool you, this place is adorable! Excellent food with very friendly attentive staff. We got 2 rolls, an appetizer, and a bottle of sake for a little over fifty bucks before tip. We've also gotten take out before which was timely based on the estimate and had a delightful bowl. Would definitely recommend the rainbow roll, which we had already broken into before the picture. These are LARGE rolls
Osae is a decent spot to hit up, it's always busy and a little crowded due to popularity. The staff is pretty attentive, but definitely rushes around, although they're kind. The food itself is good, and one of my preferred spots for ramen, but I still get the sushi more often than that. Also, this is one of the only places I know to get crab tempura instead of shrimp tempura which bumps them up as far as unique dishes go.Prices are pretty great and the variety is hard to beat.
Great selection of food. I got ramen as well as some appetizers. All the food I had was great, and most of the service was good. Our drinks stayed full and food came out quick. They also offer sake and some beer.
This is my new favorite place!!! We chose to get ramen after a night out of drinking & this was exactly what we needed! There was little to no wait time and the service was great. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. There were many options for the ramen broth base/toppings and it was excellent! I will definitely be returning :)
Restaurant is located in an unassuming strip mall that is next to a bar and salon, and it’s definitely not fair to judge it by this. Once you go ahead, you’ll be greeted right away. The ambiance is not exactly an izakaya, but you are here for the food. I had the baked mussels and tonkotsu ramen with grilled scallops. The mussels were simply amazing with the right flavor profile. The ramen itself was good, but I expected more pork flavor from the broth. The broth wasn’t quite right as it didn’t meet expectations. Although, I loved the big scrumptious scallops, and the egg was cooked perfectly. All too often, I find the egg not cooked correctly. Definitely give this place a try!
Absolutely phenomenal! The sushi was top notch! we had the Snow White and rock n roll sushi rolls both were very delicious. I enjoyed the gyoza udon dish and it did not disappoint! My new favorite spot in Colorado Springs!
