Terrible, Terrible experience. We arrived before 7:30 pm. The hostess was flustered and said the wait will be 20 minutes 30 minutes later she sat a 5 top that came after us (2 top) and then approached us and said she could not seat anyone else because she doesn't know what the wait was anymore ( we were the only ones waiting). She was extremely fake nice as if she was trying to get rid of us. The Hostess proceeded to say that she could give us recommendations on where to go, which she assumed we were from out of town. I can't help but think that they didn't want to seat out of town people? I don't know, all I know I am never going here again and that I will recommend people not dine at this particular establishment.
Really good. Been a while since I have been to On the Border and i was pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty, presented well and timely! Service was great! Enjoyed the experience there.
Delicious. I ordered the barria tacos to-go. Tacos weren't soggy being that it was a to-go order. It was lunch service not too busy. Order was ready when we arrived. We will definitely go back.
Excellent service. Food was overly salty but not horrible. Refilled chips and drinks quickly. Overall was a pleasant experience.

Not bad food for a chain restaurant. We tried the Birria and El Pastor tacos and also ordered the queso/guac for the table. We also sampled the Melon Margarita. Everything tasted good, although definitely not authentic (obviously). Our waitress did a great job despite having a lot to do in our section. Overall, for the nice environment, food quality and staff, this is a nice place to go for a hot meal and good drinks.

I worked for this company for about 8 years and wow has service gone down. Went in for drinks TOGO and there was one guest in the entire restaurant at the bar. took ten minutes to be acknowledged even though there were employees standing around. clearly great leadership here. finally someone came over to see if we needed assistance. margaritas are not even good anymore and the portions for food are sad. The chips were not even cooked properly. Probably should keep them in the fryer a little bit longer and spread them out so they are not stuck together.
This is my FAV location in CS.. always amazing (overworked) staff with great attitudes.. interested in getting me a good deal and will make the monthly margarita special drinks fresh, as premixed tend to give me headaches.. SPECIAL ORDERS NOT A PROBLEM with food and drinks.. always honors the QUESO CLUB <3 open to constructive criticism.. then implemented a fix before I came again..
Terrible communication and poor attitude from bartender. Don’t think people should be standing in the restaurant for 10 minutes unaddressed when the bartender is taking her time moving and washing dishes while ignoring me. Especially when she can address the door dasher beforehand just fine. The order i was waiting on was also 20 minutes late.
