The soup I ordered was served in dirty bowl and I could not even eat three bites of my pad thai, something was wrong with it.I generally don’t leave bad reviews, but the server did not acknowledge the dirty bowl, or the fact that I did not eat three bites of my Pad Thai.I left feeling sick.2 stars because the water was fine.
Food is always amazing and so fresh. However, your server Megan requires an additional lesson on customer service. From the moment she sat us down, there was no warmness from her. Didn’t ask us what we’d like to drink, came back minutes later and asked us if we were ready to order. Asked her for a drink then and it really appeared as if I was bothering her. No responses to our “thank you” at all. I don’t think we ever received a “you’re welcome” from her the entire time we were there. Food came out incredibly quickly! Megan never came back to check on us until we asked for the check; two other parties were sat while we were eating and the difference in her service with them was incredibly evident. She was so much more lively with the other two parties and made an effort to engage and ask them what they would like to drink first hand. Not sure why we were treated so poorly, but it definitely put a damper on our experience. We come here frequently and absolutely LOVE the food, so that’s not the issue. The server was.
The food is SO GOOD, and the staff is very friendly. I appreciate how small and intimate the space is, and the spiciness of my food was just right. This is one of few restaurants that has impressed me since moving to Colorado so I would HIGHLY recommend it.
My husband and I had lunch here and both agree we will be back. I had the spicy chicken drunken noodles and he had the beef panang curry. There was not much beef in his curry, but it was good. This is not sweet Thai food, which I can appreciate.
I ordered the orange chicken, which I’ve ordered before and the sauce was essentially orange juice. I drove back to exchange the “sauce” thinking maybe they just forgot to add whatever they use for a thickening agent. The young man told me that’s how the sauce always is and then proceeded to explain to me how I’m supposed to drizzle the sauce on top of the chicken and rice. What a completely life changing tip. All this time I was trying to jam the chicken and the rice in the little to-go sauce container….I rate the food 1/5. The advice a solid 5/5.Orange Chicken - $13.99The sage advice received - Priceless
I think I have had everything on the menu. I love everything so much. You cannot go wrong with anything. This might be the best Thai place in town. Give it a try!
As with all restaurants, consistency is the key. My husband and I ordered takeout on Wednesday, Jan 5th. Unfortunately for the restaurant, they were almost empty. Fortunate for us though. I ordered the Orange Shrimp and my husband ordered the Royal Chicken. Both dishes were excellent, the Royal Chicken had the right amount of spice, the additions he asked for were there, the portion was great. My Orange Shrimp were cooked PERFECTLY. Crispy outside and succulent inside. In fact, we decided to order again on Thursday, Jan 6th, and I wanted more of the Orange Shrimp. On this night they weren't very busy, three orders waiting for takeout and about three tables with customers. My husband ordered the Massaman noodles which were good, but even though he ordered medium + on the spice, they were less spicy than the Royal Chicken he had the previous night at medium spice. Unfortunately, the shrimp were marginal at best. The oil was not hot enough and they came out very greasy and not crispy at all. They almost looked like they were boiled. In addition, no Orange sauce was provided. Fortunately, we have an air fryer which made them at least edible and had some sauce left over from the previous night. We also ordered fried rice which turned out to be brown rice with scrambled egg in it, no seasoning or any other vegetables even though it says onion, tomato and broccoli. The egg rolls we ordered were also not terribly good. In fact, tonight's meal was no better than frozen P.F. Changs out of the grocery store at four times the price. We haven't been to Narai in a while, but decided to give them another try yesterday. After tonight's meal, it will be a while before we come back. We want to support local restaurants, but not at these prices and quality.
Having lived in Thailand, I love Thai food. Sadly this did not live up to expectations. The staff were helpful, efficient, and kind. The food was ready for pickup earlier than the expected time. The atmosphere of the restaurant looked cozy and inviting. The food though was underwhelming.I ordered shrimp spring rolls and drunken noodles. The siding rolls were warm with leaf lettuce. This resulted in the lettuce being slightly cooked which added a very unpleasant aroma as you might imagine. The roll itself looked like a poorly rolled blunt, tapered at one end fat at the other end and was falling apart. The peanut sauce for the rolls was very soupy and had clumps of minced peanuts, the size of peas. The drunken noodles lacked flavor and was drenched in oil. Oddly, the noodles were a combination of the white flat noodles and what looks like spaghetti. Something that I've never had in Thailand. I'll be trying one of the other Thai restaurants next time I'm in the Springs.
Read the reviews, and I really wanted to like this place. Maybe, I had too high of expectations. I had the Seafood Green Curry, and I was surprised about how soupy it was. I also expected more seafood, but there was only one scallop and I believe no shrimp. Overall, the food was good, but not great. Glad I tried this place.
Always fantastic. If you haven't been, you should...if you have been, you should go again!
