This was my first and definitely my last visit to MOD Pizza. I was eventually greeted by someone "not on the clock." I was asked if I required the employee to change their gloves. Socially I felt guilty at the idea of requiring that someone do something extra for my customer experience, so I said "don't worry about it." After being asked what ingredients I wanted, we got to the veggies. Apparently if I wanted spinach, I was supposed to say that at the beginning (oops). My Pizza went in the oven and I stood in the line waiting to pay. When my name was yelled, I reminded an employee that I still had to pay. The pizza was burnt and tasted like it looked (like poo).
Usually they are great, but today I must admit that the staff dropped the ball. I placed on online order around 7:50 and the website estimated it would be ready at 8:08. I walked in the lobby at 8:04 and left with my corrected order around 8:50. The person boxing the pizzas was extremely helpful though and apologetic for my wait which I appreciate. Please, if the order will take longer than 15 minutes to make, that’s fine! But maybe try to have the website reflect that. I have no problem waiting if I’m waiting at my home.
I had a single serving size which I was able to customize which made it delicious. I live jut a few blocks from the place and enjoy it periodically
Pretty good pizza place.It's in the style of chipotle, or if you never been there....You begin by ordering a crust, then proceed to pick sauce, cheese, toppings and then they cook it for you.Taste was good for the set up.The ovens they use really help that aspect.My experience was having 3 toppings made the pizza easy to break at the crust, or the toppings slide off. I guess the speed of the oven they use, combined with the small pizza size, doesn't really allow said toppings to get cooked properly.Maybe order it well done?Overall average but potential for improvement is there.
Love hte pizza, always amazing!! BUT, not the vibe that you used to get when they first opened. When we would come in, you'd walk in the door and they would yell "welcome in" tonight we could barely even get a smile out of any of the front staff. Customer service has a lot to do with a restaurant vibe, if you don't get it and you don't got it you're not going to keep the staff or your customers!
Trash. I went in here with my wife for the first time and was so unimpressed. Everyone looked unhappy it was helping us the girl making our pizza complained the entire time about her back hurting and while doing that miss the fact that my wife was a vegetarian and put chicken on her Pizza. Then just took it off and cooked it. This place has a great concept and could be awesome, it's not there yet. Not worth the money definitely not worth the experience sorry guys.
Ordered pizza tonight and was so disappointed. Got 2 pizzas and a cheesy bread. One pizza was good, one had some wrong ingredients and the cheesy cauliflower crust was way over cooked. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we have been disappointed here. Probably won’t go back to this location.
Easy and fast with couple good beer choices. Clean tables and I love no extra charges to add stuff to the pizzas.
I'd never been to a place like this before and I had a lot of questions. The employee behind the counter was incredibly helpful and kind. (Nicole) She was knowledgeable and took a lot of time in making sure I was 100% satisfied with my order. She answered any questions about any of the toppings I had, and had some great recommendations. Their pizza and salads are great, but this is the epitome of being greater than the sum of its parts. The employees take pride in what they do, and as I was lucky enough to get there before a rush, watching them quickly and efficiently go through a line of 14 people like nothing was crazy! Knowing that I can walk in and get consistent fast, great food, with happy employees.. that doesn't happen anymore. I was thoroughly impressed, and MOD Pizza is very deserving of all five stars, for the price, for the value, and for the experience. Thank you
LOVE this place! I always make my own pizza (bbq sauce,cheese, pepperoni, roasted garlic, & jalapeños & add mikes hot honey to it) SO GOOD!!
