The food was phenomenal! We tried a few pierogi flavors. Growing up enjoying Polish food, I can say this is authentic. Very flavorful. The portions were perfect. The prices were reasonable. The service was great! I’m so pleased we found Mika’s on an internet search as we are from out of state. Very happy with our visit!

So delicious! They were so friendly and very welcoming!

WOW, this place is absolutely amazing! For our starters, we had the cucumber salad and fried mushrooms, both of which were insanely delicious. I've never had pierogies before so I can't comment on how they compare to others, but every single flavor was absolutely scrumptious, and the sample platters are very fairly-priced. It was cool to try all of the different flavors and textures that they came with, and all of them were good, even the ones that wouldn't normally be to my taste. My favorite flavor was the blueberry, but the potato and cheese was a close second and the Reuben was third. Will definitely be back again soon!

Had lunch there and the food was very creative and yummy! We will eat there again.

Definitely one of my wife and I's favorite restaurants in Colorado Springs. The pierogis here are amazing, I grew up eating pierogis and I'm so happy to find a place that does them so well here in town! I highly recommend getting a platter so that you can try every type of pierogi on the menu, you won't regret it! Definitely stop by for lunch, dinner, or whenever you feel like trying some amazing homemade pierogis!

Mika's was a wonderful lunch experience. I tried both the loaded fries and the sampler platter. The fries were perfectly cooked and despite adding a welcomed scoop of stew, did not get too soggy. I was left with fries that were great through the last bite instead of soggy fries that we only worth their toppings. I will absolutely grab another bowl the next time I come by.All seven flavors of perogi were delicious. The classic was exactly what you would expect, a perfect representation of what a perogi is, potato and cheese will always pair well. The sauerkraut perogi was balanced well with the touch of black peppercorn. The feta and spinach was a nice twist, classic Greek flavors that pair well with the Polish presentation. The Reuben, was probably the most interesting of the flavors, an interesting option that I don't think paired well with the format, but was still well done. Barbecue beef and Buffalo chicken are great flavors, the meat was tender and the sauce was tangy, these combination work in any presentation and Mika's perogis are no exception. If you have lucky children, these are probably a great way to expand their list of foods. My favorite perogi of the afternoon was the blue berry, the berries were amazing, not too sweet, a perfect balance to end the parade of perogi.I will return, and I encourage you to give it a shot.- Michael

This was an interesting place. Each wall had its own theme that did not blend well together. My husband and I came in for lunch and ordered the mizeria, zapiekanka, and single sampler. The mizeria used a watery sauce with lots of pepper. The zapiekanka, while plated beautifully, was an untoasted bread with cheese and veggies on top- basically a fluffy pizza. On top was a drizzle of ketchup. The samplers are a great way to sample each flavor here is a rundown of each peirogi:1. Ukrainskie Ruskie: mashed potatoes in pasta2. Sauerkraut classic: the sourness from the sauerkrauet and the pepper was overpowering.3. Greek: we liked this one, but wish feta was inside the pierogi instead of on top.4. Rueben: delicious! Tasted just like a rueben!5. Cowboy: if you like a hamburger in a pasta sandwich, you're good with this one.6. Buffalo chicken: Wish the the chicken had the sauce instead of drizzled on top. And missing Bleu cheese.7. Blueberry: wish we had vanilla icing or something with it.The service was lacking as they did not come back to see if the food was OK with us or bring more water. My husband had to wave down the server for the check and to-go boxes, but this wasn't because they were busy. There were only three tables (8 customers total) eating at the moment. While we were eating, a young child (maybe 4 years old) ran out from the kitchen into the dining area yelling and running around for at least 15 minutes.

Awesome, friendly little place! We tried 7 pierogi flavors and they were all good, I was surprised that I even liked the less traditional flavors. The stew was yummy as well. Very glad we visited and will be back!

This restaurant is a perfect example of the American dream. Mika (who took our to-go order) was sweet and gave me recommendations. We got the couple's platter, which was plenty for 2 adults, a kid, plus some leftovers. The pierogis were authentic and very good. The BBQ beef and buffalo chicken were our favorite. What I liked most was that although this wasn't a super "healthy" meal, I also didn't feel guilty or yucky afterwards. I'm someone who has to choose food wisely. I don't eat fast food, don't eat deep fried food, don't consume dairy, don't have too much red meat....basically, I'm picky without wanting to be, but it's for health reasons. So I'm not sure if it was simply the fresh ingredients or the fact that there weren't added preservatives, but I felt good afterwards! Nourished. And as always, happy to support a local, small business.

Delicious! Small business. Family owned. Family feel!! So much flavor! Get the sampler, you won’t regret it!
