Super fun little Cafe :) I love Mediterranean cuisine, and just was absolutely floored by the owner/chef's spin on very classic dishes. Fresh vegetables, fresh feta, fresh music and atmosphere :) 100/10 would recommend!Pictured: dolma appetizer and tzatziki, gyro and Greek fries, and lentil soup (absolutely divine! I would love a full bowl!)
Absolutely phenomenal food with amazing service! Well worth coming in. Ronald is great, gives perfect advice, provides suggestions for what to eat, and nails it! Love the ambiance!
We loved this place! The food was amazing and the portions very generous so no one left hungry! My teenage son couldn’t even finish his gyro! What impressed me most, however, was the customer service! So friendly and attentive — it was such a nice surprise to feel so welcomed in this day and age where business don’t seem to care anymore. Highly recommend — you won’t be disappointed!
Whole visiting Colorado Spring it was lunch time, I was craving some Mediterranean food, I was exciting after seeing so many good reviews and unfortunately can’t leave the same rate about the place. I had chicken platter and my boyfriend had gyro platter. His meat was super dry, my chicken was juicy but too char broiled, I am not sure how often the grill is cleaned but that grill char changed the flavor of my meat. The rice was..crispy ? almost uncooked. The sides were good (warm pita bread, hummus / I really liked it-homemade, and tzatziki sauce), my side salad was also okay. They have a big side option btw. Since I have a comparison to other GREAT Mediterranean restaurants, the Mediterranean cafe in Colorado Springs unfortunately was very disappointing. I won’t come back.
Good food and GREAT people. I took my mom there, who is heavily stricken w dementia. The owner recognized her struggles offer something while we waited for food. He also left counter to hold door open for us. Thank you sincerely for your kindness.
Me and my fiancé just tried this place for the first time today for lunch. I left extremely upset with myself that I didn’t find this place a lot sooner. The service was top-notch the people were extremely friendly at the counter the tables were clean and the food was a 10 out of 10. I would strongly recommend giving this place a shot.
I hired Ronald and the amazing team at Mediterranean Cafe to cater my office Christmas Party for over 100 people. Ronald went above and beyond with his customer service. The charcuterie board and appetizers were out of this world. The variety of meats and cheeses were absolutely top notch. The food was hot and ready to go when I arrived for pick up. Every thing I needed to be a success was provided. Not one person left that party hungry and everyone raved about the quality of food that came out of such a modest kitchen. It was if we had been transported straight to the Mediterranean with every bite. I highly recommend the Med Cafe for any of your party needs big or small and stop in just for lunch, you will never be disappointed.
Overall great food. My salad was probably one of the freshest and tastiest I've had in Colorado and the Naan is definitely the best I've had.
Ate here for lunch today and it gave me food poisoning. Ordered the special and the chicken was off from the first bite...it was oddly soft, and the cuts were also fatty/gristly.I've been here once before and their salads are really, really good, but I can't give more than 2 stars to a place that's serving bad chicken. It's too bad because I've been looking for a new go-to lunch spot for work, and that salad was awesome...but 12 dollars for a small soup and a gyro isn't that great of a deal, either.
Ordered the gyro pita and fries. Gyro was awesome with tons of lamb and veggies, fries were steaming hot and delicious. 11/10. I'll be back.
