I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Every time I’m in town Chicago dogs are a MUST.
Food was great, service was fast, very local operation. Nice woman at the counter. It seems there were people entering or calling with incorrect (old) information on food options and prices. Here are the current food options, hours, and prices (see pictures).
Small place, big flavors! We loved this place! The best Chicago style hotdogs and the waffle fries were to die for!! The owner is so sweet and original with the best personality. Def a must try for great food and service if you’re in the area!!
Growing up around Chicago I have high expectations for hot dogs. This is the first place in Colorado where I have found real Vienna hot dogs like back home. It is a simple place, no dining in, but they do have a few picnic tables that you can eat at. If you want to experience a Chicago dog, this is the place!
So glad we chose Margo's to eat at after a nice hike. Amazing food and amazing views.
This is the best place in town to get hotdogs or sausages. The food is excellent and the service is great. The owner is a great lady and everyone I know that has gone there just loves it. Anything from a plain dog to a fully dressed Chicago style.
Didn't even make it out of the parking lot before I went back in to get more!The staff was amazing. The hot dog had that perfect "snap" when you bite into it and it didn't taste like mushy meat filling like most hot dogs do. The chili was amazing, the Chicago dog was authentic. My only regret is discovering this place a week before I leave the SpringsBruh, i almost forgot... the fries were amazing but the onion rings!? How they maintained their crunch and flavor after a 45 minute ride home are beyond me! They had the perfect amount of salt.
Chicago, hands down, has some of the best food, and Margo's flawlessly brings that to Colorado Springs! My wife and I have officially made this a weekly stop. They know what they're doing for sure!
I have been anticipating going to Margo's for a bit. Today we finally made it there! The Chicago dogs were delicious (veggies were crisp and fresh). If you like spicy try the curly spicy fries! Very friendly staff. Will definitely go back and try other stuff on the menu.
