Quiet atmosphere with coffee house jazz playing. Great place to relax and grab a coffee & croissant out of the cold. Make sure you have ample time to relax as staff is lacking as are most places around town and food takes around 30-45 minutes for a ham croissant & tomato baguette. Fresh coffee & great food when it does arrive

I’ve been coming here since the 1980’s when it opened. My whole family has loved this restaurant, but sadly, what we knew is no more. The menu is greatly pared down, and the meals don’t include what they used to. My go to favorite lunch restaurant is gone. The new ownership should have tried to replicate what had been here forever. It was packed every weekday at lunch. Farewell La Baguette, we loved you well.

I’ve been eating at the downtown location for many years. New ownership has come in and it’s become somewhere I’ll never go to again. Absolutely nothing needed to change yet that’s all they’ve done, to their detriment. The pastrami looked like Bologna today, shiny and rubbery and ice cold, the bread was crack a tooth hard. The salad which used to be the best in town was a mess with dressing that was heavy and tasted like nothing but garlic ? There are just too many things wrong here…I wanted the last couple visits to be a fluke. Stopped in today and will definitely not go back . They’ve raised the prices about 30% too- that was a bridge too far for some really gross food.

I've been a regular customer for the last 4 years and they recently changed the menu. Let me just say that the change is not an improvement. Even worse, the website still shows the far superior old menu. I understand rising costs mean that the price of menu items goes up, but why would you take away the lunch combos? The veggie sandwich on a croissant was the best item on the menu, coupled with a small side salad made for a great and easy to grab lunch on a short break from work. Today I spent more than $12 on a basic tuna sandwich that didn't even have lettuce or tomatoes on it and a sad little half slice of pineapple. If I had known that prior to ordering I would have driven myself home to make my own sandwich and I would still have saved time and money.Sadly I won't be coming back if this is the menu they plan to keep. Which is a major bummer because I loved that veggie sandwich.

I have been eating at the Pikes Peak La Baguette since Covid hit....I loved the French Onion soup and would make frequent trips all the way from Falcon just for the soup. Unfortunately today this all changed. I ordered the soup to go. When I got home and opened the container I immediately knew something was wrong just from the color of the soup..It looked like water with a very pale, brownish color. There was soggy bread and no cheese. The consistency of the soup was extremely watery versus the original soup which was very thick. The bread was so mushy and soggy that it fell apart lifting it out of the watery mess. The taste of the soup was like water with over boiled onion. It is really disappointing to see how the quality and/or recipe has been changed. The order taker mentioned how now all soup has been changed to bowls versus cups , however the container my soup came in is the same size as the one called "cup". I read the other reviews right now and have discovered there has been a change in ownership, unfortunately it has caused a change in the food as well...

I paid $19 for a chicken salad and ice tea. The salad was so small I could not believe it. It contained about 3 romaine leaves cut up and 1/3 cup of chicken salad that did not taste fresh. I was so disappointed. I have eaten here for years and was always good. Another post Covid turn to the worst.

I'm not sure what happened. I've been eating here for almost 12 years and lately every other week. I have never had a bad meal from La Baguette till today. I got a soup and sandwich to go. The french onion soup was cold and just had a pile of un melted cheese on top. (Pictured below) The croissant for the sandwich was really hard. I ended not even eating the soup after I tasted it. Just way too much salt. I'm really disappointed and sad that my favorite lunch spot might be gone to pasture after so long. It's a shame and I hope things turn around.

First time in from New Bern North Carolina. Visiting my son in the Army. This place is Amazing and cant wait to come back for more.

Had the cappuccino and the turkey and swiss on rye. Both were lightly-filling and tasted pretty good. Did have to wait more than I'd think for such a small portion but overall a nice, quaint, French themed cafe with polite staff.

We drive from Banning Lewis Ranch to downtown. It is so worth the drive we get the turkey and Swiss croissant w/french onion soup and the ham and Swiss croissant w/french onion. There are NO restaurants near BLR that can come close to La Baguette
