Mixed feelings here.The doughnuts themselves were fine. But those are made on a machine.The issue I had was the staff. We pulled up to the drive thru and a very cheerful recording played, only to be paired with a very unenthusiastic employee. “Can I help you” in a bothered tone. We then asked if we can get something. He replied “we don’t have those.” So we asked for a just a glazed dozen and all he had to say was “yep.” And he shut off the mic. We still wanted other items but he wasn’t there.I just kinda expected better…
I will start out by saying we love KK! We were so excited to get one in the Springs! So, we’ve been by several times to get our fix of donuts, taking them to friends and events, etc. Two days ago we drove thru the drive thru and got 2 dozen original glazed. The first box was delicious! But, we opened the second box today and I don’t know if they haven’t changed the oil since they opened a month ago or maybe they’ve over used that recycled frosting…but this box tastes off. Ewwww! You can do better! ???Update: So, I have a graduate and we went for graduate day! The donuts were sooooo good and the glaze and frosting was on point! ?Just bought 2 dozen yesterday, one was free for my birthday month and the glaze was weird again…?We’ve been here at least 20 times since they opened. As I said, we’re fans! We like bringing KK to friends, events and to park days with the kiddos. It’s the inconsistency of this location that is sad. Sometimes you get a friendly employee and sometimes you don’t. Sometimes you get great quality and sometimes you don’t. I hope they can get some leadership that encourages the best of both and they have success. ??Edit 6/30/22 - had a free dozen reward and came by to grab 2 dozen to go. They had the hot now sign on and gave us 2 hot dozen and 2 hot single donuts! YUM! They were sooooo good! Always the best when they’re warm! ?Cameron at the drive thru window was friendly and happy and gave us excellent service! I’m optimistic. Things must be looking up! ?
Update:The past three times I have visited, there weren't any Minis available which are what my daughters like. I went at completely different times with the last time being around 8 a.m. and I was the only person there. When I asked when a good availability time for Minis would be, the response I got was, "we have them, just not when you are here. I don't make the donuts". If you don't consistently have available product, take it off the menu. I'll give this location another couple of visits before going back to preferred location which always have every option available throughout the day.I'm happy to see Krispy Kreme back in the Springs after so much time has passed since the previous one closed. I think the staff is doing well so far even with the new start and long lines. I have managed to drop by at the right time the past couple of times where the wait was only a couple of minutes. I will say there have been some inconsistencies with their product which I am hoping will get better in time. My visits to the Lonetree location have always been consistent while meeting expectations. My most recent experience was today when I picked up a box of "Minis for Mom". It seems the donuts were made too big because it was a standard sized 16 count box. The last row was sort of crammed in as you can see in the photo. They also had two of the four varieties which were displayed on the app. I was advised beforehand that they only had the two designs so this wasn't a huge deal, but a little disappointing just the same. I will continue to visit unless other things start to slide and I am hoping some of these standards will start to improve.
I have gone a few times to Krispy Kreme and Natalie was the one who helped me! She was so sweet and answered my questions about some donuts I enjoy but they haven’t had. I have enjoyed their donuts every time too! Great customer service or and sweet treats.
Fantastic taste and service. We didn't do drive thru, but service inside was quick and easy. Recommend going there for a great sweet treat!
Thankfully, the drive thru wait is down to about ten minutes (at 5pm Saturday night). Friendly staff. Prices are a little tall but you expect that. Lots of options. Fast, too, all things considered. Can’t beat the hot doughnuts here - amazing for sure!
I've been a Krispy Kreme fan my entire life. I've also consistently received excellent quality and service all over the country except this location. My first visit about a couple of weeks ago, my order was incorrect. This time I visited in store (to ensure hot and fresh) and the order was accurate, 2 dozen donuts, one assorted and one original glazed. My daughter and I immediately sat down in the restaurant to enjoy warm, fresh donuts. To our disappointment, they were cold and looked old and stale. When I showed an employee they advised me, "It's a new glaze recipe and that's just the way it is, and the donuts are less than 2 hours old". Also, after getting to the bottom of my coffee, I noticed coffee grounds. To me this is unacceptable quality and customer service. Thankfully, as I've said, for Krispy Kreme this location is the exception not the rule! I'm still hoping they step up their game with quality and service!
It’s funny because I’m sure the lines intimidate people but it goes quickly and the inside experience is so awesome watching the glazing process! Plus, yum!! These donuts are so good. 10/10 recommend. Prices aren’t bad and staff is friendly!
The indoor line is always long, but the employees are nice. The parking lot is hard to navigate and the drive-thru was built on the wrong side of the building, but the donuts are amazing!
I’ll give them a 2 because they really was moving the drive thru line , very efficiently . so good job on that ?? .. but i ordered a dozen glazed donuts , a dozen assorted , one single strawberry & a single glazed .. but they ended up giving me two dozen assorted donuts and , two strawberry & two glazed .. my total at the window came out to be $43 .. and i wasn’t handed a receipt .. so i don’t know if they charged me for those extra donuts and the dozen assorted donuts that i did not purchase . but needless to say i will not be waking up at 4:45 am just to wait in the drive thru for these donuts again . especially when they’re cold , i was expecting hot atleast considering i was there before they even opened also there’s no phone number to call ? which is weird ?? ..
