Best sushi in town for people who really appreciate authentic sushi (California rolls don’t count) and the Japanese culture. Not for those who break their chopsticks on top of the table and rub them together, not for people who mix wasabi into their soy sauce. Not for loudmouth people or for those with wild children. Great for quiet people with respect for the culture and Japanese dining experience. More expensive than others, but much better and worth it. We’ve been dining here since 2007.
This place is pretty decent. The atmosphere is very calm and quiet (which I liked). I ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner and it was really good. My son ordered the chicken teriyaki box and wasn't too crazy about the tempura veggies and shrimp. He said that it lacked seasoning. He did enjoyed everything else though. They took a while to serve us, but to be fair, we were starving so it might have been that. The server was a very nice lady, and the prices were reasonable (considering current inflation). I would recommend for a nice, quiet dinner.
The sushi was disgusting and the Ramen was plain. 0/10 would not recommend.Server was nice. That was the only good part
I have been to Japan; Tokyo, Osaka, and the west coast (Toyama & Nagano) a few times in the 80s & 90s and for the first time in the Springs I have found a restaurant with sushi that resonates what I remember. I know Colorado Springs is not next to the ocean for fresh catches but for where I have tried, I have not found another with the freshness and authenticity of flavors which I thoroughly enjoyed to the last piece of sushi. Thank you Jun for the excellent service and keeping in the heritage of what I remember as sushi from Japan.
The food was absolutely amazing!! Waitresses were great and the cooks were phenomenal. The building was clean and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. 10/10 recomend for an authentic Japanese meal.
Date night with my daughter and it could not have been better! Fantastic service. Food was delicious- can't wait to come back.
Intensely delicious, well crafted, filling, beautifully presented in an intimate and beautiful atmosphere. You'll love it! And lunch special prices are so affordable and still no skimping! Phenomenal.
Absolutely the best in town! They have been around forever and with great reason! Wonderful Sushi, incredible environment.
their sushi is tasty! the teriyaki is awesome! rice and veg are perfect every time and the temura is so light and crispy.owner is so kind and staff is awesome.they also have the fun tables you can sit at if you get there early- they fill up quick.been going there for years and they will continue to get my business.
Ordered Lunch F (Bento) Sat Sept 18 from Dublin location. Lunch F is Teriyaki Salmon, Tempura and 4PC California Rolls. The website menu states "All bento boxes include a small lettuce salad, cucumber salad, white rice and miso soup." Purchased my lunch and checked the contents, no salads or soup. Went back to store and was told carry out doesn't include these items.Onto the food. The salmon was very dry with little Teriyaki sauce. If I'd been dining in I'd send this back. Tempura and California roll was good.Compare this with Sushi AI. The salmon there is excellent and instead of Tempura the Bento includes sashimi and comes with salad and soup. The takeout at AI is just as good as the dine-in. Jun, you need to step up your game if you want my business.
