Great local ice creams and they even do pup cups for your furry friends! My favorites are Purple Mountain Majesty, Moose on the Loose, and Malted Mazel Tov in a waffle bowl, but I don’t think you’ll find anything that’s not great so you can’t go wrong!
This ice cream is absolutely delicious. Very interesting flavors and so creamy. The people who work there are so nice, and very happy to let you try any samples. Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty dessert.
The Salted Peanut Butter Cup flavor is amazing in scoop or milkshake form. We always have good service and are pleased. I’m taking a star away because the paper straws are pointless for milkshakes. You can have about 1/6 of the shake before the straw collapses in and you can’t drink the rest. It just doesn’t work. If I can’t enjoy the hole treat, why am I paying for the whole shake? Provide another option.
Super yummy! Prices are what you would expect for fast and yummy ice cream on the go. So not overly priced. Service was quick.

After dinner in the area, my wife and I decided to stop by the 2022 Gazette’s Best of the Springs Gold Medal (Ice Cream) Winner, Josh and John’s.The inside of this store is larger than anticipated and clean throughout. We arrived around 8:00 PM with no line on a Thursday.We received great service from the two employees at the counter. I think we tried 5 different flavors and they were happy to give us samples.After trying out different flavors, my wife got a cup with a scoop of peanut butter and a scoop of chocolate. She enjoyed it to say the least.I ended up getting a waffle cone with a scoop of peanut butter and a scoop of the Ukrainian Honey Babka. It was nice to see that they charge an extra $0.25 on this flavor in order for them to donate that quarter to a Ukrainian relief fund.Let me say that we walked in while the employees were making the waffle cones and they tasted homemade. The waffle cone itself had a crispy exterior and even was slightly warm. As a result, this fresh waffle cone elevated my experience from the first bite.The peanut butter flavor is very heavy on peanut butter which is perfect for me. This flavor includes some peanut butter cups as well which just makes this flavor even better.The Ukrainian Honey Babka flavor delivered too! The honey is very prevalent and creates a sweet touch that makes the ice cream smooth and delicate.Overall this was a great spot to get our ice cream fix in after a nice dinner. Do yourself a favor and go for one of their waffle cones/bowls.
The Purple Mtn and the Almond Joy are delicious! Wish they served Mission Coffee, but Mission is close enough to grab a cup on the way. So good! Best local ice cream!!!
This is my favorite local ice cream place. This location, unlike the Tejon location, rarely has a wait. The store is clean and staff is always kind and friendly, even when I show up 10 minutes before closing (sometimes you can't help your cravings!). The salted peanut butter caramel ice cream is my favorite with the purple mountain majesty right behind. If I want ice cream, Josh and Johns is where I'm headed!
