Joey's Pizza is an amazing Pizza Joint. With wonderful, tasty, and crunchy food. I would recommend trying this place if you haven't already.Place definitely needs more workers though. Service was a little slow but expected given only 1 cook and 1 delivery driver. Still amazing service.
Joey's Pizza does it again. Ordered at 6:15 they said it would be delivered at 8:01. We called at 8:30 and the girl said she forgot to put the order in. We gave them 3 chances Done.
Just ordered delivery for my first time here. The food is great but more than that, the delivery person (Joseph) went to a lot of extra effort to doubly replace some spilled food even after offering to take it off my bill, and when I had said that re-delivering it wasn't necessary. Was super respectful and friendly. I had asked for no-contact and (to tell me about the spilled food) Joseph had stayed but was far enough away that I still felt very safe. Highly recommend.
Not exactly authentic NY or NJ thin crust (crust is too crispy and slightly burned), but tasty all the same, and the slices were very big. I actually enjoyed the garlic knots better than the pizza. Very reasonable prices too. Better than most of the pizza places in Colorado Springs.
The pizza is really good as usual. I like how there is lots of chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza. However I might not order garlic wings delivered again because the oil from the wings dripped down all 4 boxes. Looks like it got wings with 2 cups of oil on top.
This pizza shop is my favorite here in the Springs. It’s tough to find the type of pizza from my childhood growing up in the north east. Joey’s is it! Look at the size of that giant cheese pizza! They offer a military discount and have repeatedly had an excellent experience each and every time I’ve been there. Highly recommend. Oh, and their garlic knots too!
Joey's pizza has SO MUCH potential! I've waited for the 3rd time I've ordered from here to make a review:First time I ordered pizza it was not cooked all the way through (workers were also nonchalantly hanging out chatting but it was also not busy, pizza should've at least been cooked but I guess they were rushing to get me out of there possibly).Second time we ordered a Sicilian and I was NOT disappointed, it was amazing and actually tasted like home (from downtown NY).This third time we ordered, we got a one topping pizza, and waited 30 minutes past the time it said it would be ready just to find out it was taken out of the oven, set on top and forgotten. How do you set aside a cooked pizza and forget about it?I don't know if management is poor not holding workers accountable for their actions and running a tighter work routine, or if the workers are blatantly not doing their job and properly communicating, listening and understanding each other...either way something needs to change before this business loses all of their customers. I really love this place and the potential, so we would hate to see it disappear and look forward to hearing if there will be any improvement in the near future so we can try for a fourth time??Hopefully the owner sees this and is open to our feedback.
I moved to Santa Rosa in November of 2021 because of a new job. I am very unfamiliar with the area so I just went through the Google looking for pizza and I have tried several in the area. I found this place and I have not looked anymore. I retired from a bakery supply company.and the first thing I noticed is they are picky about the flour they use. The flour they use is a high gluten flour with a high protein count more than average and high quality. The ingredients are high quality as well. There pizza oven is the icing on the cake because it is a brick oven which is why you get the crust with the texture on the bottom that some folks are complaining about. As I said I was in the baking industry and I have been going back since day one. Thanks for the great product guys and gals.
I ordered the margarita pizza and clam digger w/o bacon and it was amazing ! I was trying to order off door dash but it kept canceling . I called the store and they said they would deliver it ! Perfect customer service ! Order at least an hour 1/2 before you want it ! Great experience !
You just never know with local pizza joints, we were lucky enough to discover Joey’s, and this place is UNREAL. Like, very good. Highly recommend getting ricotta on any/all of their zah’s, it amplifies to next level. The sauce and cheese ratio is perfect, it’s not a paper thin slice where it tastes like all grease. It’s flavorful and they don’t skimp on the toppings. Also, the wings are big and have the perfect spicy buffalo. They are fairly realistic with their delivery times, but at “high volume” hours it can take a while. Worth the wait though. We ordered the NY Big Apple pizza tonight and it is comically large for 2 lol — we will be feasting all week on this bad boy. The cannolis are also legit if you have room!
