Nice little brewery. The good beers go quickly.
First time at the new location. We visited the one out in Payton a few years ago before the plague. New location is nice but the beer just wasn't on point. Service was on point so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3 for the beer.
This is a good local bar, they offer events like sip and paint. The only drawback is the bar is limited to beer and wine, and the food menu is just snacks/appetizers. The wine I ordered was very good and the snacks were delicious. I recommend this establishment if you are in the mood for a good glass of wine or beer.
I was a little disappointed to find out they only have food trucks on Sundays. Their list of snacks is very limited. I tried the pretzel (didn't have cheese, only mustard) and cheese curds. On the plus side, they do allow dogs indoors and it wasn't busy on a Saturday.
They make root beer and cream soda that they treat with the same level of reverence as their craft beer. I didn't even try the beer. Totally recommend the soda though.
Had a great time with our friends on trivia night.
Andy is an excellent bartender!!!
Great selections for everyone you take there. I enjoyed their seltzer with the mix ins
Jak's Taphouse was quite fun. My wife and I attended trivia night on Thursday. We won, but that's not important. The brown ale was quite nice. I tasted acorn, which was pleasant, and it had nice roasted malt flavor overall. Many of the beers were good, on the fuller-bodied side for those who get that. I would highly recommend stopping in for a pint, or even an 8 ounce pour! For those nearby, I imagine it could be an amazing local pub. Just be aware that they don't serve meals, but snacks. With the restaurants in that area, there is no dearth of succulent vittles.
Wide selection of brews. Friendly staff and discounts for first responders, teachers and military. Love the atmosphere. I would return again.
