service and dinner of fish and chips were excellent.
Food and atmosphere are both great, they have a really good Irish old fashioned. Closest to fish and chips that we had when in England.
4/16/2022.the hostess is amazing and was a lot more cheerful and inviting/talkative than our waitress. if the hostess isn't a waitress she needs to be.typically I give shout outs to amazing servers and give constructive criticism to the bad ones. however our waitress was just mediocre so nothing bad to point out and nothing outstanding to congratulate.the Rueben fritters are delicious . personally I liked them better than the pretzels.the pretzels were a little to heavy for me. some bites were super salty others were like raw dough.please bring back the pub duo.I've supported this establishment for many years and plan to continue coming here for some of the amazing food.
Love this place, we got to sit on the outdoor patio which made it even better. We started off with the celtic wings (whiskey maple), & the chips & dip (the mary rose sauce is AMAZING). For an entree I got the Guinness mussels & I was highly impressed with the flavor profile!! I highly recommend!!
Good food and good service. Lively atmosphere.
We went for week night Dinner at Jack Quinn's on our first night in the Springs. We were staying in Manitou Springs but it was a very quick and easy drive. JQ's doesn't have a dedicated parking lot - it's street parking or a parking garage. My family of 4 were each pleased with their meals. I had the chicken pot pie which was quite good. The service was excellent. JQ's is definitely worth a try!
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. They have lots of traditional Irish meals and a great beer selection. I found the fish a little lacking but my husband loved it.
Downtown in the middle of everything. I enjoy the local military and police memorabilia throughout the restaurant and friendly staff the most. They have a lot of room, with an upstairs portion when needed. AND of course they have great Irish pub food and drinks. I always enjoy a good black and tan when I visit. The wait staff is excellent (super friendly and never let my glass empty without another one already on the table).
Each year our school participates in week long experiential learning excursions where pair of faculty takes about a dozen students somewhere to learn about science, other cultures, etc. My group participated in an International Cuisine Tour via a cooking interim. During this interim we participated in the Rocky Mountain Food Tour and this was one of our stops! Here we had a delicious Irish Shepard's Pie with soda bread and honey butter. This was one of our top two favorites restaurants. Some of our group ranked this as their absolute number one and the rest number two. Overall, we loved it! We will all return. :) Additionally, we had a great time listening about the history of the town from the owner. He was great!
This is a very good pub with great food! It is very authentic for an American Irish pub. The food is awesome and the service was spectacular. They have a kids menu that includes ice cream for desert. It’s hard to find bread pudding but they have it here. We had a great experience and we will be back next time we’re in Colorado Springs!
