This was my first time trying Indian cuisine, and I'm glad I chose this place. One of the staff mentioned they're new owners, and we're just starting back up. Overall, they seem like really nice people. They were friendly, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of. We ordered to go, so they offered us chai tea while we waited for our meal. I was pleased to see they took their time to make sure the food was secure and wouldn't spill. I ordered the Chicken Tandoori and my bf had the Combination Curry. My bf has had Indian a few times and mentioned this was the first time a restaurant had ever asked him what spice level, and was really appreciative of that. We both really enjoyed our food, and we will definitely make a trip back.
You’ve got to try this place!! It’s under new ownership and the service is great. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Curry with Naan and everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. We moved to Colorado Springs from New York City, and think this is probably the best Indian food we’ve ever had. The Chai was lovely too! The atmosphere is cozy and the music was a nice touch. If you don’t like it spicy, be sure to ask for low spice, but we thought mild/mild+ was just the right amount of heat! Definitely will eat here again.
Absolutely delicious. They just had their grand opening 5 days ago, so the one star reviews aren't relevant and may have applied to the restaurant prior. While we are going to miss Indian One (India Palace), the food and customer service was absolutely amazing. We were excited that there is finally a lunch buffet again in Colorado Springs. All the other India. Places have a dinner buffet, but they are way overpriced and the food is not nearly as good. The buffet was absolutely amazing. We will be back often.
So everyone knows this place is under new ownership. I was there on the second day they open on 6/5/22 for the open lunch bar and the food was amazing. This is a family own business and you feel a warm welcome as soon as you walk into the door. The staff is very welcoming and makes sure you are taken care of. I really wish I could remember the young mans name that served me, but his servers was outstanding and knew what he was doing. Also from 10:30am-3:00pm is when they have the open lunch bar after 3:00pm is when they have a open menu and its about 4-5 pages of different kinds of Indian food. You can tell this place takes the word quality to a different level and puts in the time to do it right. I recommend this place to anyone that likes Indian food or just wants to try something new. This would be a great place to take a date or family in my book because the outside dose not do the inside justices at all. Don't just take my word for it go try it and I'm willing to bet you will not be disappointed. I cant wait to go back and try out more of the menu items.
I am selfishly glad this spot is not more known or it would be packed every meal! Very tasty, which is what counts. But, also friendly staff and authentic food. I would recommend to anyone!
On the plus side, service is friendly. Atmosphere is nice however the burning incense smell is overpowering, it would be better if there was more ventilation. The food was okay but small portions for the price in comparison to other local places, especially the rice. I would not recommend this restaurant as a top-notch place for Indian food in Colorado Springs but it’s okay.
Everything about this place is great. The portions are big, the Naan is soft, and the atmosphere is low lit with great music and clean tables. Would give it 6 stars if I could
Wonderful authentic Indian food. The curry sauce is a family recipe and the best I’ve had. The owners are delightful.
I had takeout from here tonight & it was incredible! Indian one has been the go to since it opened but tonight was easily the best it’s ever been. We had lamb saag & butter chicken with naan. So pleased with the portions & quality.
Good food awesome customer service. If your not sure what to get please tell them what type of things you do like and watch how well the help.
