Room was not totally clean upon check in and had missing items such as robes and coffee. Overrated and not classy at all with extremely unfriendly staff, in fact they write little messages about clients to each other on their computer if they don’t like you, so there is toxic gossip environment here. The place has nice views but you can get that by going into the garden of the gods park. Poorly run hotel most of the staff did not know how to do their job and acted superior to guests including the management. Food was typical Sysco type food and very salty, their so called wellness smoothies had high fructose corn syrup in them there really is no “wellness” vibes here just a toxic environment with fake wellness advertising. Booked a massage and that was a nightmare the receptionist Barbara tried to refuse services to us because she messed up with the schedule but still tried to charge us a cancellation fee. There weren’t many people there staying at this resort and I can see why. There really is nothing too good about this place. I felt like my vacation was more stressful than my work week, in fact I enjoy going to work and being home more than I enjoyed this resort if that tells you anything. I feel like I paid lots of $$$ almost $500 per night to get treated poorly. This place really has nothing going for it. Save your energy and spend your money where you will get treated better. I found the Broadmoor or Cheyenne resort to be way better.

My wife and I went there for a late lunch/early dinner. The View is incredible, but the food has no flavor. We ordered two “rock burgers” hamburgers which they heat up frozen hamburger patties, don’t season them so they don’t have any taste and change $42 ($19.00 a piece). I asked another person eating in the restaurant how his food was and he said his meat was dry and didn’t have any taste. If we ever go back, we will just order drinks and enjoy the view.

Best viewsMy 1st time in Colorado and we stayed at Garden of the Gods resort. We stayed in the king's room which is a great room, the bathroom is huge and has an amazing jetted bathtub. The only downside was the construction. We ate at the rocks, and The kissing camels both were delicious and had wonderful service. The beach cafe has a Starbucks and the barista is the sweetest lady. We loved starting our morning talking with her.My husband and I spent a day at the spa. He got a haircut, and facial and I got a 50-minute massage. They have a Himalayan salt room which was wonderful. We did the falconry excursion and it was worth every penny. Also, the Royal Gorge Train in canon city is a neat experience.GOG also offers car service for 75$ we used it to take us to the Rabbit Hole downtown and the restaurant has a great atmosphere along with great food and drinks.A tip- we took snacks, and water to keep in our room along with coffee for the coffee machine.

We are all so use to average service from hotels that when amazing service comes along we get surprised. The service here was far better than amazing, it was not forced or staged it was genuine, the best type. Clearly the owner and managers are selected and trained well. I had jet lag so woke up at 3am. I went to the main bar area and was greater by an amazing night service guy who, without any prompting, offered to make me tea or coffee and brought me a bottle of water. The rest of the stay was exactly the same from everyone else.

Beautiful location but their kitchen gave my wife food poisoning. We checked out in the morning, decided to leave after the staff did very little. No refund on the poisoned food, no discount to the over all bill, and hardly any apology either. We were told tye kitchen staff was being lazy. We will not be be back and will never recommend. Stay away from the food if you value your health

The cottages and Casitas are beautiful comfortable and designed to fit your needs! We plan to go back every year for our anniversary I especially love the large soaking tub

Be very careful with this place. My wife and I were planning to visit for our 25th wedding anniversary and made reservations. Shortly before we were supposed to leave for our stay, an unexpected emergency came up and we had to cancel the reservation. Little did we know that the resort does not consider cancelations made less than 7 days in advance to be timely and will charge you for the visit as if you had actually arrived and stayed. If you are planning to visit Colorado Springs and are not 100% sure that absolutely NOTHING unexpected will come up, you might be better off going with a Motel-6 or some other less rapacious operation that won't take advantage of any opportunity to profit off your misfortune.

The Garden of the Gods Resort & Club is such an amazing place to stay and celebrate your marriage! I now work in Colorado Springs as a wedding photographer and cannot wait to shoot weddings at this beautiful location! abbyskyephotography.com

This property is beautiful! The front desk and Valet are awesome. I was waiting in my car for my Husband to check in and a Gentleman brought a water to me!! First class. This was a birthday surprise. We had good massages. I was disappointed that the steam and Sauna were not working. Also I do not recommend the fine dining. My steak was not seared. The spinach was over cooked and slimy. The Chef did come out to apologize but they could have done a better job. The half chicken was rings of compressed chicken. Not a half chicken. I would eat in town.

One of the best hotel / resort views that we've experienced. The view was outstanding and everyday it gave us a bit more to discover. Deer and ample wildlife strolling around the property's grounds, very neat experience for everyone. We traveled with our 7 & 8 year old. It had a ton to do for children, including a kids club for morning / afternoon lunch dates, and evening kids club for dinner dates. I think they had more fun in kids club that with us :) Very kid friendly if you make the activities work for your family. The hotel staff was amazing. Sara, the hotel's concierge, was beyond impressive. She called prior to our visit to introduce herself and was available for my wife to get back to in order to ask questions and make arrangements. Her recommendations on activities, dining, and all around was second to none... I'd simply say she was by far the best concierge that we've experienced, very impressed. Our son has a gluten allergy (celiac) and the entire resort was absolutely amazing with many dining options, care and sincerity in taking our order / food preparation. The dining rooms all had a wonderful view and ambiance. The food was spectacular and we were able to find something new every meal with several allergy restrictions. Very accommodating, even walked Starbucks over from their on site café so our kids could have GF white hot chocolates. Really no request went unaccommodated. Our room was amazing as well. Huge double / separated sinks, walk in closet with tons of drawers and hanger space, and a separate restroom / bathing area allowed all 4 of us to get ready without feeling cramped. The room has a wine by the glass dispenser with a white and red chilled option, tons of coffee and tea options, and a nice sized fridge / freezer. The room had very plush beds with a sofa, table, and a desk. A warm fireplace below the TV offered us a few nights to watch a family TV show after dinner with the fireplace in view. The regular rooms have the most amazing view. Our first floor unit had an outdoor dining table with 2 chairs, and room for the kids to play and explore nature. The spa was wonderful. Very modern updates and the experience was wonderful. Clean and a full facility to get ready for lunch after a morning massage. Very clean.Overall just a wonderful family trip with a drive time of less than 4 minutes from our hotel room to the Garden of the Gods entrance. Such a lucky find and we plan to visit again, soon! :)
