We ordered their weekly dinner for two, which was Chicken Normandy with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. It was amazing - easily one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten - and the price is amazing, especially for how much you get (we had enough left over to have lunch for two the next day). I cannot recommend this enough.
Fantastic place for breakfast! Great ambiance, food and fantastic mimosas. Server was knowledgeable, fun and friendly. Great gluten free options.
Excellent food, service, and bakery! Fresh pastries and amazing food. The server had character and he was attentive. Service was perfect. Get your pastries early because they will definitely sell out. The fried chicken was lovely
This venue is NOT at the Garden of the Gods park; it's located in downtown Colorado Springs. The address listed on TA is not correct, see earlier reviews. We came on a Sunday morning and it was hopping! Best to get there at "in-between" times to decrease your wait time. Our server was friendly and attentive. Some wait staff were wearing masks, others were not. All of our entrees arrived piping hot and were very tasty. Their grilled cheese sandwich is pure comfort food! Delish! We also took advantage of their ready-to-go salads and entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken pot pie for dinner. Crust was beautifully flaky and scrumptious.
Had breakfast here with family. Food was great and wonderful presentation. Nice modern decor. Very clean and attentive wait staff. Reasonable prices. I recommend this place. Actual location is now 616 S Tejon.
My lunch was delivered cold and soggy - was it the kitchen or the server - don't know but either way I will not visit again.
We ordered their Thanksgiving turkey breast dinner this year (along with a couple of additional sides) and were extremely disappointed in both the quality and the portion sizes.Turkey: tasted like it came pre-cooked from the factory with tons of preservatives and salt. Probably the same quality that is served in high school cafeterias. Supposedly glazed with something but didnt have any flavor.Cranberry relish: was just stuff from a can with no real cranberries or texture.Meatballs: clearly from a bag with a super cheap sauce on them. No hints of bourbon or unique flavor. Plus only like 12 small Meatballs per order. At like $25 per order this was awful.Caprese: I am pretty sure the mozzarella came from Costco (I get there all the time). Small little skewers with 2 tomatoes and a single piece of mozzarella.I could go on, but just overall very disappointing, which is odd because last year's was much better.
The food was much better at the old location. Service was great here but the food was cold and not that good after 2 visits. Not sure if we’ll return after 2 bad experiences.
We booked Garden of the Gods Catering and Events for our morning wedding. We booked the wedding brunch package which had so much food! In doing our research we were drawn to GOG catering due to the positive reviews but also due to the presentation of the food itself. As a brunch wedding we wanted something “fancy” and not just the average bacon and eggs. The wedding package included a coffee and tea bar, tray passed appetizers, pastry’s, dessert bar, and a buffet of main courses to include three cheese scrambled eggs, hash brown casserole, glazed ham, fresh fruits, salad, lemon chicken and potatoes casserole, and a meat and cheese selection. Like I said, it was a ton of food, but it was so delicious! We definitely got our monies worth and no one left hungry. We worked with Christina and she was awesome! We had scheduled a tasting back in March and it was ultimately the tasting and the presentation of a simple tasting that won us over. On the actual wedding day all of the catering staff was professional and easy to work with. They did an amazing job with set up and take down. GOG catering elevated our wedding to one of sophistication and elegance. So happy with the outcome. Highly recommend GOG catering for your wedding or other event. We will be looking for an excuse to use them again in the future!!
Always exceptional service and atmosphere. I highly recommend the spicy blody Mary and banana bread French toast. ??
