My wife and I used to frequent this restaurant when we lived in Colorado Springs, so when we were in town again we decided to try it out again and see if it was as good as we remember. We are happy to report that it was! It is still probably the best tasting Chinese food we have eaten outside of Dim Sum. The Shrimp Egg Fu Young is the best Egg Fu Young we have ever eaten and the Sesame Chicken is amazing as well. We have never eaten anything from this restaurant that wasn’t great. The workers are all very friendly and kind as well. They try to take an interest in the customers and make sure they have everything they need. My only complaint is that they don’t have this restaurant where I live now. I would definitely give this place a try if you love Chinese food.
Husband and I come here at least once every other week. The staff recognizes us and jokes with us most sweetly. They were even willing to start stocking wild cherry Pepsi for me!Now for the food! It's so good, I ACTUALLY order different things (normally I'm a coward at restaurants and only get the safe options). This place, I actually try different items! I've yet to find any of the dishes lacking. Mom came once and they made an item off the menu for her! I don't think I've ever seen her give such a big to.The building itself looks not the best from the outside, but the inside you see beautiful plants and comfy chairs that are well work and well cared for. The statues and other decorations show that the owners and employees care about this place.TLDR: eat here. Edit: wear the stretchy pants.
This Chinese food is the best I have had in the West/Midwest. Very similar to the Chinese restaurants in NY and NJ.
Never got to try the food here. I ordered online and then recieved a call saying they would need to refund my payment and I'd need to pay in store. When I called the restaurant to try to figure out what was happening, they said that they had my order but had not taken a payment. The payment from First Wok had already come out of my bank account. The person at First Wok I spoke to when I called hung up on me 3 times and would not even try to help or figure out what is going on. I had to report the payment to my bank as fraudulent and it is still not resolved.

It’s our New Year’s Eve tradition to order Chinese food for takeout. We decided on First Wok through a combination of great reviews and huge portions.We made the call around 5:00 and ordered all the food you see: 2 Beef Lo Mein (1 without veggies), 1 Sweet & Sour Chicken, 1 Pineapple Chicken, 4 Egg Rolls & 2 Sides of Chicken Fried Rice.Both of the Beef Lo Meins were the highlight for sure. The noodles were plentiful and the beef had a fantastic flavor.Next best thing was the pineapple chicken. Holy sweet sauce, this was fantastic! The sauce compliment the meat and veggies perfectly. There was a plentiful amount of pineapple chunks as well.The sweet and sour chicken is a great option for a breaded “American” Chinese staple. Very consistent and heavy portion of the chicken.All entries itself delivered not only on taste but value.The Chicken fried rice is very heavy on the bean sprouts, but I like them so it didn’t bother me. The fried rice was very good by itself and delivered a consistent flavor that served as a great base to the dish.The white rice is your standard white rice that worked well with all entries.The egg rolls were okay. Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside.Overall, for $80 after tip this was a great food investment! We still have food after 3 days and it still tastes great. They had all of this food ready in 20 minutes after calling. Talk about quick service!The service was awesome and the server was very thankful for our order. We were happy to support this local Chinese restaurant and we recommend others do as well.
Great little gem. Happen to pass one day itching for Chinese food. High recommend the bbq pork and rice noodles!

Amazing food and service.Everything is flavorful but not too greasy like some Chinese restaurants can be. We will always order from First Wok! I recommend the family style tofu- it’s SO good.
Super busy Christmas Day and with a takeout order for 6 people they were timely and did everything perfect and tasted delicious.
