Show up in plenty of time before closing and almost rejected from getting served. They ended up sitting us at table and we ordered quickly knowing closing time was coming. When food arrived they served us in To GO containers! Was told you can stay here and eat if we want. Really!? Make sure you get there 2 hours before closing or don't bother going at all!

We decided to eat here out of convenience due to being guests at the hotel. They far exceeded all our expectations! Our food was hot and fresh, the salad bar was superb, and my daughter loved the free ice cream she got for her birthday. Our waitress Tammy was the warmest kindest person. We enjoyed chatting with her about our trip and local attractions. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience.

I was looking forward to eating there last night. Although it was not busy, service struggled. I waited for a while to be seated. I was directed to an empty reception area and no one to greeted me or usher me to a table. Not sure if the guy was going off duty, came back to check on me and said for me to sit where I prefer. I was told my server was Tammy with a long hair who came around asked the guy -table in front of me if there is something else that he wanted but never made eye contact with me nor check if I've been attended to... what happened to customer service? I made eye contact on another server and I guess motioned Tammy to check/take my order but never came to my table. The other server was visibly busy attending to other customers and Tammy was trying to find something to do to make it look like she was busy. I watched her went to the bar and chatted with the other guest while I'm still waiting for anyone to take my order. Finally, the other server came after taking other customer's order who came after me.Tammy avoided checking on me even as the other server asked her too and even the off going guy approached her and told him that I was the other server's customer!!!! How do I know, because the guy said Tammy was not my server it is the other one! ..... like I have leprosy or maybe not fair skin like Tammy would want her customers to be. Yes, I could've got up and left for another restaurant. Not this time though. How about teaching your server to treat everyone equal regardless of their ethnicity?

Gage and Matt are great. The Cobb salad was fresh and the Jet Fuel Long Island really hit the spot. Overall, great stay while our house was worked on

Good food at a reasonable price. Our waitress was great - I have had worse service at much higher-class restaurants.

Great service, it was quick and delicious. I was like the only one there but still very friendly and attentive.

Great food! Great breakfast! Very well kept, even the salad bar was fresh. Family had a great dinner there. Only negative thing would be maybe they could open with a limited menu for lunch

We stayed at the Academy Hotel and enjoyed our time. The restaurant has amazing staff! All of the bartenders give great recommendations of things to do in the area along with being very friendly. The breakfast staff is top notch and breakfast is ran smoothly everyday keeping food and drinks filled along with cleaning and being friendly with guests. The food is excellent as well. This exceeded my expectations for a breakfast buffet in a hotel.

The food was very good. I thought the prices were a little high. Picked food and brought it back to the room. The meat lovers' pizza was delicious. The free breakfast was very good, especially the waffles, and make your own omelet was cooked right in front of you.

Please don’t think this is what Colorado Springs has to offer for cuisine. We have much, much better food with in a 5 minute drive.Went there last night on a date and I wish we had gone to the Wendy’s across the street instead. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium RARE, what I got was a ribeye cooked medium well instead. The manager on duty had apologized for the wait, if I had know that over cooking my steak was what was taking so long, I could have saved them some trouble. Our meals came with the salad bar. The items in the bar were not kept cold in anyway and several of the dressings had that greasy film over them that reminds you of mayo left out in the sun. I took a few bites of my salad before I tasted something very off and wisely decided I’d had enough. The meal also came with a dessert, either ice cream or cake. I was hopeful that at least dessert would not be disappointing. I was wrong. Very, very wrong. We each got a slice of cake that was completely dried out on the outside, except for the part that had been face down on the plate . And not just a little dried out. It was so crusty that we actually flipped the cake over and kind of hollowed it out to get the edible parts. It was clear that the individual slices of cake had been sitting on the plates, uncovered, for maybe a day before they were served. The only reason anyone should eat here, is if they are snowed in at the hotel.
