Disappointed. I had been wanting to try Fala-filo after seeing their high rating for the area! I had tried going in for lunch, but they are only open 4pm-9pm. I tried again today and was greeted by an empty dining room. The woman who helped me was very nice, but the food was surprisingly expensive. After I paid, the woman said it’ll be 30 minutes and insinuated that she was cooking the food herself. I took the food home and it was mostly fine. Flavors were pretty average. The salad (pictured) was not dressed, which is a bummer. The pita tasted and looked store bought. For the price and the wait, I don’t think I’ll be going back. They seem understaffed and hopefully their quality can improve if they have more staff.Edit: to respond to the below comment from the owner - I did not order on the phone, I was very kind to the woman I ordered from in-person, I tipped well and ordered 4 items, and I hope this restaurant remains in business. This does not change my disappointment with my dining experience at Fala-Filo
You have got to try this place. You are going to love it. My wife and I always order the combo dish because we love the variety of food items. It isn't pricey because it is always more than enough for two people. This is the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had.
If I have to go out on a limb, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in this town at any price. We had the sampler plate and the special, then the Kunafa for dessert. I basically couldn’t talk for the first half of the meal because it was just that good.
YOU NEED TO EAT HERE. The food and staff deserve way more than just five starsThis was quite literally one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Colorado. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here. You won’t regret it ✨
This place is amazing. The owner recommended a chicken dish called Maklubah. The chicken was cooked to perfection and it literally fell off the bone. Along with the eggplant, cauliflower and rice, the dish was so delicious. The pita and hummus was also out of this world.
We LOVE it here!! AMAZING authentic food!! Every single time!! The staff and owner are top notch! Not only is the food stellar but they teach you about the culture, the reason certain foods are around, how it is eaten, the culture, family. It is a beautiful unexpected experience. The teas are exquisite and unique . I struggle with writing a review because I want to keep it to myself so we always have a seat but that wouldn’t be fair to Fala Filo. Come expecting an experience. This is not fast food, it is homemade and worth your time. We will likely see you there if you come!
Delicious food, but maybe a better experience as takeout. Pictured are the lamb plate and the curry plate, both delicious. The server gave us free samples of some of their drinks and the hibiscus drink is great, tastes like sweet black currant/and grape juice. Our waiter was friendly but was the only server so there was a lot of divided attention. We had the pita bread and hummus and they were the best we ever tasted. Everything is served on paper plates so I wouldn't go for a date here or expect a 5 star dining experience. The low point of the night was definitely desert, ordered the dish described as a sort of rice pudding and waited half an hour for it to be served to me in a styrofoam drink cup and tasting like scalding soap, couldn't eat it.Will definitely order more of their delicious food but probably won't dine in again.
The pita bread and falafel are vegan and so yummy! We also got a salad without dairy and the tea is very good. No free refills but worth it. The owners are so nice just specify you are vegan.
I'm *vegan*, and they did a wonderful job ensuring I felt comfortable with all of the dishes. they made sure there was no dairy or eggs on anything and told me what my substitution options were. The food was AMAZINGLY tasty!! I definitely recommend this place!
