Amazing fresh authentic Thai
One of my favorite restaurants in the Springs! Wait staff is always very friendly, food comes out quickly and portions are huge! Very delicious. I find myself craving elephant Thai on a weekly basis! Love it
Mediocre, slow service, and oddly prepared food. I visited on a lunch break and waited for several minutes at an empty counter behind another couple while the staff were chatting up in the kitchen. I finally had to go around the corner to ask for help. Once sat, I waited over 15 minutes to get my order taken, which happened only after I flagged down the waitress who was back to chatting with a friend jn the kitchen (at the time, there was only one other occupied table - tue rest of the place was empty). I ordered teriyaki tofu, which is described on the menu as pan seared. It arrives as deep fried, pencil eraser sized cubes floating in a thin brown liquid that is nothing like teriyaki. The tofu also tasted like deep fried rubber and was terrible. The salad was overdressed with what tasted like mostly straight Mayo, and the soup came with a cold crab Rangoon, not the veggie spring roll it promised. As a place touting lots if vegan food, the fact that I was served seafood with my meal wasn't exactly in keeping with that idea. I also ordered a Thai Iced tea and was asked if I wanted half and half or coconut milk. I opened for coconut (which I was later charged an extra.75 for). It tasted good, but the milk was separated in the tea and looked grainy and curdled. All around, a terrible experience and at almost $19 for lunch, I'd never come back.
Wow! What a gem! The soup and the drunken noodleswere one of the best we’ve had so far, and the service was incredible. The place is authentic and the food is too. The vegan menu is extensive and can be enjoyed thoroughly by meat eaters too. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.
Friendly staff and good atmosphere. I found the food to be very bland. The Tom kha was oddly sweet and overly salty without any spice or heat (I ordered medium). The curry tasted like a powered blend that was added last minute. This is just my honest take away. My friend and I didn’t care for it.
I’ve been going to this place for a while now, I went before it was even elephant Thai. Usually everything is on point, but this time the food was a little pricier, which is to be expected it being a new year and all, but my rice portion has never been so tiny. Please give the full size portion of rice next time, I just worked a super long day and now I have to make more rice for my curry… :(
Wonderful experience, friendly staff and great food! Lots of seating, big menu of choices and authentic. Servers are very friendly, and the food was quick to arrive. We'd definitely come again, to keep trying the things that are new to us on their menu.
Love their food! Good gluten free options! I have celiacs so it’s really important for me to avoid any trace of gluten and I’m a regular here. I love how flavorful their food is also even if ordering mild.
Had our New Years Eve dinner here, and it was great! The food was excellent, the staff was very friendly, and our food was ready very quickly. the whole experience was great! Happy New Year!
Very good food and service, reason for the 4 and not 5 star is spring rolls not rolled tight enough and they fall apart when you eat…. Good flavor they just fall apart and I prefer my peanut sauce a thicker consistency . This time we had the chicken fried rice and it had a great flavor. Definitely worth eating at Elephant Thai.
