Another bad experience at this store, not going to try again! Went to Krispy Kreme happily. Was told system was down, asked to pay with cash and was told they could not sell me a half dozen donuts, even if I had exact change. I can’t understand this mentality, common sense is not practiced...no customer service. I will say 1 young lady was willing to do that but manager told me they couldn’t give me change, didn’t need change??? How about taking my money, putting it aside and ringing it in when the system came back up...just a thought?
As a former baker (I hand rolled dunkin donuts for years), finisher and store employee I have NEVER seen such a badly displayed store. They do not make their own donuts, they are pre-frozen.. they also are not finished properly.. apple spice donuts are covered in cinnamon not powered sugar, jelly donuts are covered in sugar not powder, and please teach your employees to count change.. my change today was twenty-seven cents.. two nickles, one dime and seventeen pennies IA not that. I will not be returning. This place has gone down hill fast.
Coffee is always good. No complaint there. The drive thru staff was friendly and smiling. I ordered the new cake batter iced latte. Didn't taste even a hint of cake batter. Tasted like a plain latte. Don't know if they just forgot to put the flavor in or the cake batter has no flavor. Heh I checked, and the sticker on my cup included the cake batter info, so it was rung in correctly, at least.
Very poor service! Always closed. They say the dining room closes at 7 and drive through closes at 8pm. We got there at 7:31 and the dining room was locked with no sign stating why or that the drive through was still open! There were staff standing there watching us and did not do anything but stand and talk as if we could not see them! When we called the store to talk to a manager we were asked what and then next thing the girl said was “oh I am the manager” and refused to let us talk to the real manager, then claimed we harassed her. Also they are always out of donuts and always mess up your order!
Terrible service. We arrived at 3pm on Friday, HOURS before closing. The girl working there was assisting the drive thru line and said she would be right with us. We understood since they were short-staffed just like everywhere else right now. After waiting, she said she could only help us if we had a mobile order because their dining area was closed. We told her we didn’t and that we were ordering it to-go. She then said we would need to order through drive-thru to place the order at all. How does that make any sense? We just took our business elsewhere.
The worst customer service. I don't know if it's bad management or a cheap owner that doesn't want to hire enough employees, but the last few times I've been here, the staff is short and rude and seems to be more occupied by the kitchen gossip than dealing with customers. Today I arrived to grab a cup of coffee only to find the doors locked, I felt worse for the lady who made her mobile order for inside pickup but I'll definitely be looking for a different location.
The worst. They always get my order wrong. Its not a special order it's straight off the menu, so I don't understand the disconnect! Again today I am stuck with the wrong order and a donut that looks and feels like it's a week old. I hate this place! Thank God Krispy Kreme is now here.
About an hour ago, I ordered a frozen drink, a chocolate croissant, and a coffee roll. UberEats delivered, but when I opened the door, the frozen drink and the chocolate croissant was there..but not the coffee roll. I called Dunkin' Donuts to see if they had given the full order to the driver. My complaint is that I was charged for the full order, yet only 2 out of 3 items were delivered. She refused to confirm the order given to the driver, and would not discuss a refund for the missing item. She told me to "take it up with Uber." Poor customer service.
This place is so popular that I strongly suggest using the Dunkin app to order. Then you just walk in and pick it up at the online orders counter. Plus you earn more rewards. Win, win!
Always always out of bagels. If you dont get here in the morning and still thats lucky anything besides plain dont bother coming for bagels. Literally the 6th time i have come craving a bagel but nope.. then having to wait in the line to leave let me tell ya fun fun...Do you not have the capability to make bagels? Then when they do have plain bagels they wont make it a everything bagel which they can very very easily. Just laziness.. pretty disappointing....
