Food was great. Staff was kind and professional. However the price was a little high and service was a little slow but it was pretty busy so it's slightly understandable. That's the only reason I marked it down one star. Would still recommend to anyone visiting the area. Or to anyone wanting a juicy, greasy, messy but delicious burger and fries!
Great place to get ice cream and cold treats. Good food, fun atmosphere. This place is a must for hot summer nights
Never had been there before, after living in Colorado Springs for 30 plus years! Food was good as well as the fries and shake! A little too HOT to be outside.
Great family run business in the Old North End. Located just off the bike trail and perfect for a pit stop while on a ride, they even host concerts on the weekends. Who doesn't want to sit and listen and 'Suck on a chili dog outside the Tasty Freeze?'
I went here during my lunch and got a cheeseburger, fries, nd a shake and I have to say everything was pretty damn good! I got a strawberry shake and not only was it SO good but they provide good thick shake straws, not a flimsy plastic straws like other places.
This is just such a quaint little place full of nostalgic feelings and memories of years gone past. Great burgers and fries and, of course, ice cream. Service is friendly and cheerful and quick. Love the shaded patio seating and literally right next to a hiking/biking trail. Wish I had found this place when I moved to Colorado Springs 3 years ago. LOVE IT!!!
Boo! I really don’t understand the high ratings! The food took a long time. I never got my fries with my meal- No ketchup to be found even after I asked for it for my kids. No kids meals- expensive and no refills on drinks! So you get done with all your expensive drink way before you even get your meal! Too bad if your thirsty. I want my money and time back! Not happy
Never had a bad experience till today. One Freezee was made incorrectly(wrong ice cream)and my chocolate banana malt was two big pieces of banana at the bottom of my cup. There wasn't a huge line of customers to cause the employees to rush with my order.
This opening this year my son and I go after school, not anymore. Cranky lady taking orders and making wrong cones made for my son is too shy to say flavor of ice cream and sprinkles are wrong, three times this season. Today our hot fudge sundae with the works came with I little squirt of whip cream, barely any nuts or fudge, just vanilla ice cream, served in a beverage cup, not a sundae cup to hold the toppings and such. As I said when I returned my medium cup of vanilla ice cream to front window, we’ll find a new ice cream place after school and through the summer. Lived in ONEN 17+yrs. Don’t be cranky to my child when we are giving you business!
