Delicious and locally owned small business. Traveling through on a cross country trip and I can't find anything like this back at home. Very friendly staff.
Found this mead in a local liquor store and was pleased to find out the meadery is located 10 mins from me! I’ve only went in to buy a bottle but I plan on going back to just relax and grab a glass. The aesthetic and theme of the place is beautiful and you can’t lose with any flavor they provide. Customer service wasn’t outstanding but I don’t need people being fake nice to me anyway. He was straight to the point and I was in and out. Perfect. I’m happy to hear no kids are allowed to be honest, that just made it even more appealing!
Easily the best mead in Colorado! Smooth, semi-sweet, full-bodied with a slight alcohol taste towards the end—all at a reasonable price. Would HIGHLY recommend any mead lovers stop by and grab a bottle.
Very disappointed. My husband and I are huge mead enthusiasts and were excited to go out for a date night with our 4 month old in tow. Here in Colorado, you can bring children into wineries, breweries and meaderies so we didn't think this place would be any different. Sadly, before we could even fully cross the threshold the worker rudely said " no kids allowed." Cool. We understand rules but it's obviously a personal rule they established as it's not the law here in Colorado. The place was completely dead so hopefully this policy is worth it to them and they can survive when families can take their business elsewhere and go to other meaderies that do allow dogs and children.
I'm sure this place has a nice quality mead and as someone who really enjoys mead I was looking forward to trying a local meadery. Unfortunately, my first experience with this established was so distasteful I will not be returning and will not recommend to others. Service is half the experience and the person who claimed to be the owner was extremely rude. I attempted to enter with my 2 month old and all I heard was "no one under 21" coming from the gentleman behind the bar before I had even crossed the threshold. Now I understand house rules, which was also the only other thing said to me before I entered, but the fact that he offered nothing else was rude. I thanked the man for his time and wished him a good day but before leaving my sister-in-law decided to buy a bottle for later. She asked about the house rule in which he responded "I didn't decide to have the baby". Very insensitive to parents just trying to unwind. Also seeing how the tasting room was empty and there was 6 of us plus one small child I'm a car seat I feel like that was a bad business choice for the owner. Not only has his rude and insensitive attitude lost our service completely but I will not recommend this place to my friend or the people I know who have made the choice to start a family.
The mead is great, the service is great, the setup/atmosphere is great, but most of all, we love that we don't have to put up with dogs and screaming children running around the place since no animals and no people under 21 are allowed in. It's a nice change when similar places in town, like most breweries, seem to be overrun with parents not paying attention to their feral children.
Delicious local mead! If you love mead or haven’t tried it before, either way, you should give it a go.
Tried all of the available meads, and they were all superb. Very cool and comfortable space, and the music was killer as well. Hoping you can ship to PA soon!
Awesome Mead, especially their new one.
Every mead they have to offer is amazing, truly. The only critique I have is that the building was dead silent, so there was no privacy. I would have liked to stay for another glass but it was awkward.
