This restaurant is amazing. The food tastes excellent, the staff is always helpful and friendly, and the sit-down area is always exceptionally clean. Tommy and Nana (owners) have created something ultra nice. They even make the sauces from scratch and the dumplings are handmade as well.Portions are super large! Highly recommend this place!
WOW! My first time there, and the reviews aren’t wrong! The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and all of the servers and cashiers were super friendly. The portions were HUGE, and my General Tso’s chicken was steaming hot with a lot of peppers and onions, and good quality chicken meat cooked slightly crispy the way it’s supposed to be. They offer chili sauce separately so you can make it as spicy as you like. $19 for a dinner combo that included fried rice, soup, spring rolls (amazing!), and wontons, and water to drink. Be sure to tip well and support a new local business!
For this weekend’s daughter/ mom luncheon we decided to try this Chinese restaurant, a “related” restaurant to the Dragon King in Fountain, CO on the Mesa as described by the staff that this restaurant.It was very good and similar to the restaurant in Fountain.We went on a Saturday around 1:30pm and it was not busy. Wr each ordered from the lunch specials.One difference was, no alcohol.The service was good, but our soups were forgotten and we already received our entrees. The staff was excellent in their resolve to this matter and served them right away, and even repackaged them in to-go containers instead.The food was plentiful!We ordered the pan fried dumplings as our appetizer. They were perfect with a golden brown on one side (the picture shows most of them with the side not golden).Lunch specials: My mom ordered the happy family, egg drop soup, fried rice and an egg roll, and I ordered combination low mein with a wonton.Mom was happy, as was I. We both left with hefty to-go boxes plus our soup!One small thing… I’m not “thin” you’ll see from another review where I mention how tiny the tables were, anyway, I have a bottom, and a waist, a rather “full” body, and I did notice that I was not very comfortable in their booths. This again, is relative, as my body is different than yours. So the seating overall for me did knock down a star.I also love me some house hot mustard and theirs did not disappoint!Great, kind, friendly service!Definitely recommend!(Ate the egg drop soup roughly 4hrs later, I didn’t refrigerate it, just sat it on the counter when I got home, didn’t heat it up and ate it and OMG, it was delicious!!!)
We have ordered for delivery 4x now and every time it comes within 20min. It's super hot and the huge amount of food is always shocking! Everything we've tried has tasted amazing! My husband is so thrilled that he's finally found a Chinese restaurant that he loves! There's no doubt that we'll be back.. and often!
I've been saying for years that the only good Chinese restaurant around the Springs is Dragon King, which was unfortunate because the only one was in Fountain. I was super excited when I saw one opening up closer to home (just on the corner of Galley & Powers)!Now I can still say Dragon King is the best but there's TWO of them!I definitely recommend dining in. The staff is genuinely nice and accommodating. The facility is kept clean. And the food is just so much better hot and served. Note that they have lunch specials, but when I ordered the same thing from the dinner menu it was a little different. Better quality I think, so it's worth dining in for dinner! Veggies are fresh, rice and meat are cooked perfectly. I got the teriyaki chicken last time and it had like this perfect light crisp and the sauce was not overpowering like most teriyaki I've had.Anyway... Huge fan and highly recommend.Sorry I didn't take a pic of my food... I didn't think of a review till I ate it. I'll try to remember to get one next time!
Wanted a cup of soup as I wasn't feeling well and not only was the egg drop with corn and crab delicious and on point....the staff was so kind! They gave me some tea as I waited and it wasn't a long wait at all. Will definitely dine here again.
Excellent Customer Service. I had the sweet and Sour pork. It had great flavor. This is a little different tasting Chinese food than any where I have been and that is a good thing. The Rice is the best I have ever had. Finally had some great hot and sour soup. My wife had the Mongolian beef and said it was excellent. We will definitely be going back.
Dragon King was a wonderful place for lunch. Their menu is great and the inside seating for dining is very clean. The waitress was so helpful when we ordered and checked on us a couple of times to see if we needed anything, even refilling our tea when our glass was half empty. I will definitely be going back to try some of their other menu items.
This place is fire! I recommend this place to everybody. The lady at the counter was so funny and friendly, and as far as the chefs go wow they know what they're doing. The food is awesome.! You got my five stars!
We recently went to Dragon King Chinese Kitchen and everyone in our group enjoyed our meals. What was even more impressive was how friendly and engaging the staff is. It has been a long time since I have encountered such a wonderful group of employees. Everyone was talkative and genuine in their interactions with our party. This made for a very pleasurable dining experience and we will definitely be back!
