We were a party of 7 on a Tuesday evening. Sheila, our server, was amazing! She gave us recommendations on food, appetizers, drinks~she also acknowledged and appreciated our friendliness and receptiveness to her. Modern looking restaurant with many delicious food options. Fried Green Tomatoes were the BEST!
This location is dissappointing. In my opinion, since it's grand opening to now, the costumer service has severely degraded (especially over the past year). In my opinion----> Colorado Springs location requires an attitude adjustment, to include thir Management team. Here's the scenario. Had a reservation, w/a specific table (#51) in the dining room, on 30 Jul 22, at 1715; this was established on 29 Jul, in person, w/a hostess, for 30 Jul. When I came in (on 30 Jul), someone was already seated at that table; they had probably just been seated-- as no appetizers or salad or drinks were on the table. Anyway, we were told to stand-by (sit) and they'd be right w/us. When the first hostess returned, they offered to seat us at the bar (however, my reservation was dining room). When I asked about the other tables and booths that were unoccupied, was informed 'those are reserved.' Well---WTHO was mine (reservation)! When the hostess departed and brought another hostess forward, and I advised what happened, I was informed by this second hostess "there's nothing we can do." Again, WTHO on the type of hostess's you are hiring. I left and went elsewhere to dine (and spend my money). Later, at 1834 (same day), I called, requested the manager, and spoke to an assistant manager, explained everything that occurred earlier, and was advised 'we'll speak and educate the hostesses.' Do I trust that will occur? From the tone and reflection of her voice---no! And, I would not be surprised if she was the 2nd hostess (or whom I thought was a hostess) that spoke to me. I left that day, with intent on never returning to this Colorado Springs stablishment. I can continue to go downtown and eat at McKenzie’s Chop House or Famous Steakhouse. Food is better elsewhere ---and----they can figure at a simply reservation system. It's not like tour building a satellite here! What was hilarious, to me, was I actually received an email from this location, indicating my reservation had been canceled; date/time stamp was 30 Jul at 1710. Really. So when I was there, at 1705 and trying receive some type of service, and you're trying to assist me (before I became frustrated and left at 1715), you canceled my reservation (IAW the email). I mean----they can't even get this reply correct. ????? Now---on 1 Aug---thought---WTHO---let me call and talk to the General Manager. Called twice (during my duty day), but no one ever picked up the phone. So, figured on way home, I'll stop by and speak to this General Manager. Showed up at 1625, no one was at the front desk, stood there for 2 minutes, and so .....I called their number (while I stood there) and it rang 10 times before I hung up (and still no one came by). Finally, someone showed (at 1630) and I was informed the General manager was in a conference call. I waited for about 10 minutes and then decided it was time to leave ..and requested the Rib and Chop House Corporate Phone number (just in case my session with General Manager did not fair well). I was given the number 1-866-597-9381. Well, when I arrived home and called that number,, was not surprised to discover it was a fax, not a voice telephone number. Not surprising...as it fall in line with the service, or lack of service, I received on 30 Jul 22. You would have to pay me to eat here...and I'd still never come back. Come on---you can't figure out a reservation process.
Order the NY Strip very delicious,came out just how I asked. The mashed potatoes were a little on the sweeter side not really my style. But the Carrot Souffle was very delicious, safe to assume they were probably yams or sweet potato nonetheless they were good. Customer service was pretty good and friendly helping making it a good experience.
The food was amazing. Our server, Zack, was the most awesome guy. He was very attentive to our needs, pleasant manner, great recommendations, &, over all he made out experience great. The atmosphere & food were superb. Highly recommend this place...
We love the Chophouse! It's got great food and drinks, tables to draw on, and the staff are always fantastic, friendly, willing to devote time to you, and great at entertaining kids. I highly recommend the steaks, they're always great. Ribs are good too, and each kid meal comes in a cool little car.
We visited for the first time. We were craving some food after a long day moving. After stopping in there was a wait at the door for a table, so we elected to seat in the bar area. It was not too loud at all. The music was just the right volume and you didn't have a bunch of drunk people trying to talk over one another and the music so it was perfect.We each ordered something a bit different. The mashed potatoes that came with my chicken fried chicken were a bit sweet - too sweet to my liking. The chicken was okay, but not the best I can remember in recent memory. We ordered appetizer and I wasn't too into the chicken wings.The ice cream sandwiches dessert was pretty good. We shared itService was on point. My glass was never empty. Friendly and helpful too.
Always amazing service and wonderful food.
This place has good food but it is a bit on the higher price range. I ordered the grilled chicken with the mushrooms and one pice of chicken breast was a bit tough but the other was perfect. The much room side I got however was amazing. The only bad thing I really can say was the atmosphere, they turned on the sports game across the whole restaurant, even away from the TV's and you could barely hear the people next to you.
we had a reservation so we were seated on time. the food portions are great here and the service is very top tier. this will always be one of my favorite restaurants in all of colorado springs. i tell all of my friends about this place. great place for lunch or dinner with the family and a great spot for date night. all of the food is cooked perfectly and the flavors explode in your mouth with each bite. save some room for dessert.
I don't know if they were understaffed or if we just had a poor server. For the price we paid we deserve better service. Doubt we will be back.
