The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and Chef Bob and his staff are the best!!!!

great atmosphere, food and staff! brought me back to my roots in New England

I grew up on the East Coast and was accustomed to fresh, good tasting seafood. I never expected to find seafood like that in Colorado but not only did I find it, it's right here in Colorado Springs! My wife and I stopped in for lunch, she got the seasonal poblano shrimp corn chowder and I got a fish sandwich with their homemade chips and both were absolutely phenomenal. I was blown away at how authentic to the seafood I grew up with this was, we can't wait to stop back in and try more items on the extensive menu! If you're missing the seafood from back east, stop in at the Lobstah Trap!

If you've ever had lobster, then you know its pricey. There's more than lobster on the menu here. That being said I enjoyed a traditional style lobster roll. You get a nice portion of really fresh tasting lobster. I also like their clam chowder, lots of clams and it isn't all potatoes like some places. The fish sandwich is also pretty good, but I still want to try more of the menu. If the weather is nice, let the nice cashier know you will be on the patio and they will bring the food out to you. Staff are also very nice and courteous.

LOVE the food, atmosphere and music! They even have gluten free options. ??????

Excellent quality and freshness. Be prepared to have a little price shock when you order though but that’s to be expected since I’m sure it’s not cheap getting fresh live lobster and clams flown in There is a board behind the counter that shows exactly where the seafood came from which is nice to know. $26 for a lobster roll plus an addition $7 for chowder and a drink plus tip and it was $43. I took one star away just because I think the pricing could maybe be just a little less but you won’t be disappointed with the quality.

This place is really cool on the inside, the staff was super kind, and the food was delicious. I had a Lobster Salad Roll and Coleslaw as well as a bowl of chowder! I would say that the taste of the food is some of the best seafood I’ve had in town. I do want to say the only reason I am leaving a 4 star is because I wasn’t full and I spent $29.00+ tip. I don’t know if I’ll be back, just based on that. Definitely was worth trying out though. Thanks for reading!

Have you been here yet? If not, you need to. I might be a west coast girl, but tonight it was all about the east. Damn guys. They knocked it out of the park. Just look at those chunks of lobster!! Drinks were great too!!

I had a business networking meeting today at Lobstah Trap and had the BEST clam chowder in Colorado! So much so, I bought more to take home. The fried shrimp was to die for and I grew up on the water eating seafood all of my life... and this is by far the best seafood I've had in Colorado Springs. The seafood tasted fresh and the seasonings were delicious. Very flavorful. Friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend this place to get your seafood fix. You won't regret it.

Staff were polite and helpful. Food tasted great! I'm not a big seafood fan so I got the Angus burger. Two lean patties cooked the way you like it. My husband and I "shared" a basket of baked scallops with Ritz crumbles. Excellent! I did taste those because they looked so good...and they were.If you are in the mood for some authentic Boston grub, this is the place. The prices are on the high side, but you get what you pay for. ? Ya want cheap seafood go to LJS.
