Great food and drink! We will be back again.
Food was horrible!!! Chicken strips were dry and overcooked, definitely not worth $14!!! The nachos were nasty!! Hardly any cheese on them, and what cheese they did have on them were baked on the chips to the point it was too hard to even eat!! Barely any other toppings on the already sparse chips (nachos). Had to practically chase down the server to voice the fact that the food was completely inedible. Horrible food that is priced way too much!! If you want to be disappointed with a dining experience then definitely hit this place up!! Will not go back to this restaurant and will let others know to avoid as well
We had a wonderful lunch with our grandparents today. The food was phenomenal! And our waitress Lana(I believe that's how you spell it?) Was amazing! She had a bubbly personality and made us all feel like she had known us for years. If you want good food and a friendly atmosphere this is the place to go!
Our family ate here on our first night in Denver. We arrived pretty late so the restaurant was pretty empty. They sat us in the back and the service was a little slow. The food was alright for bar food, but a little pricey. My son loved his tacos, while my daughter thought the chicken tenders had too much breading. My wife and I shared nachos, which were good, but not worth $17. The beers were solid, but nothing out of this world. It was a decent meal, but it seemed like we weren't welcome because it was later in the evening. It was solid, but nothing that wowed our family.
First time at a Rock Bottom in a long time and after my experience at this location it will mostly likely be a long time before go to another Rock Bottom. Restaurant stunk like rotten eggs from the parking lot to inside the restaurant. Asking for wing sauce on the side instead of my wings was a big issue for my server. The menu was very small and didn't have anything that stuck out to me. I was there at 8pm on a Friday night and they were out of multiple menus items, making the menu even smaller. Burger was ordered as medium and came out red and bloody (rare and almost uncooked). Do not even think about getting one of their Bowls. With soo many other options in the area I will likely not return.
Great food! Clean. Logan is a super server!! Friendliest service I've had in a long time. We will be back.
I came into what I thought would be a great place to try. Yet I guess with a place that dinning room area isn’t even 3-4 families in there. The bar was a little over have full. I had to wait for 5 minutes for someone to come ask me if they could start me off with something and if I was doing ok. I stated I wasn’t and that I wasn’t sure at this point if I wanted to even stay after having to wait this long even for a drink. I was then told she’s sorry for that and that they are cutting staff and then said you know. I’m like know I’m sorry I don’t know. My girlfriend talked me into staying so I guess I will see how my dinner comes.
I now know what disappointment tastes like and, if you want to hit rock bottom (for flavor), this is the place to go.Of the places I have eaten, this stands out as one of the worst dining experiences, for me.(February 2022).Two of us ordered 3 appetizers/starters and a beer (see photo), to fill a hankering for a snack. We arrived on a Saturday night around 9:45 pm. They close at 11:00, so it wasn't late-night and it wasn't like we were pushing the clock for the kitchen to be cooking food. Most other places closed at 10:00, so options for food were dwindling. I should have heeded the 3.9.stars but we were tired of driving around and just wanted a beer and a bite to eat.The "Sidekick" dish of "Garlic Green Beans" was the least disappointing of the three plates but the small serving size was hardly worth $4.00. I don't know why or how they made them look so shriveled up and sickly - but this appears to be a theme for their cuisine. The $13.00 "Bison Chili Loaded Waffle Fries" tasted like a cheap version of Hormel canned chili and some reheated, bland-o-brand, non-crispy, frozen waffle fries that were reheated in the microwave, plus extra salt. The $9.00 "Brewer's Beets" starter was the most depressing and disappointing dish of all.It was made from canned, lifeless (or maybe thawed out, frozen, lifeless) beets which were NOT roasted - not in the slightest. They weren't warmed up and they weren't chilled. They were "off the shelf, pantry-stored, canned-goods" temp. The 0.01 ounces of "sour beer queso fresco" dusting was just comical/puzzling and, yeah, it was just "queso fresco" with a stupid name on the menu to try making it sound a lot tastier/intriguing than it really is. However, there was so little of it that it's hard to know, for sure, if it was even queso fresco. The freakishly-frugal application of jalapenos did not do anything to help matters of the mouth. To really drive things home and race to the bottom, they left out "tea-lime vinaigrette" and "crispy spent grains"... the two items in the menu description which I was most curious to taste, since I've never had "crispy spent grains" and it was hard to imagine what "tea lime vinaigrette" was meant to be like, on beets or otherwise. Sadly, and as you can see in the picture, only water and a sheer layer of disappointment accompanied the ELEVEN, 1/4", half-round or quarter-round, slices of tasteless "beets" which amounted to 1 or 1.5 whole beets. Supply chain issues and wage increases cannot justify this outrageous price and this poor preparation/presentation.The beer was far from magical and not much better than a can of Bud.The waiter apparently didn't seem to mind that the food he served up was nothing as described, or he had no clue... or both. He was friendly enough but hardly had our best interests at heart, for food or beer selections. The atmosphere was "generic franchise" and they listed beer selections on the menu that weren't even available (not because they ran out but because they weren't available, at all).In hindsight, I think I'd rather go hungry or eat week-old leftovers, from my fridge, than eat a "fresh" serving of anything, from any Rock Bottom Restaurant.
Comfortable, casual place with good food and beer. Portions are a bit small compared to the price, but I don't need to pork out!
Rock Bottom has literally hit rock bottom. We dropped by tonight because we remembered how good the nachos were. So we went in, ordered the loaded nachos, and drinks. The bathrooms were appallingly filthy, both men's and women's, and when the nachos arrived, there were just a few nuggets of ground beef, and a few black beans, and the whole thing had been drizzled with cold squirty cheese. To say lousy is not to do these nachos justice. The size of the drink glasses has gotten smaller. I guess the corporate office has cut the quality and size to maintain profits. But you know what? WE won't EVER be back. Not ever.
