The Sushi was great as usual. We enjoyed the appetizers and drinks as well. The place was packed on Friday night and I would definitely recommend making reservations.
We used to love this restaurant because their food is AWESOME. Last night we ordered Mother’s Day dinner via DoorDash. We were told our food would arrive within 50-60 minutes. At 75 minutes, DoorDash showed that the restaurant was still prepping the food. So we called and the restaurant apologized and said it would be ready within 10 minutes. At 120 minutes, our food had not arrived. We called the restaurant again and they said “Oh, we’re really busy.” We immediately canceled our order through DoorDash. Clearly Land of Sushi does not know how to estimate delivery times. Ruined our Mother’s Day dinner!
I've been here 25-30 times. Never had a bad experience and The sushi quality is incredible. Don't trust the complainer reviews that just have not been accurate in any experience I've had there. Every once in a while service is slow. Who cares. If you are buying takeout sushi, you're doing it wrong. Can't fail order: blue fin sashimi app, mango roll, fire engine roll, hamachi orange roll. You're welcome.
Some of the best sushi in all of Colorado! Everything was delicious! Generous portions of fish in both sushi and sashimi. My favorite was the salmon and unagi sashimi. SOOOO GOOD. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND.
They have just ruined our Valentine’s Day. We have waited for 1 hour to pick up our order which we placed online in advance. 1 hour . Alter 20 min of waiting they told us it’s going to be ready in 10 min and then another 40 min went by . It was a horrible experience!! Wouldn’t offer to set us down while we were waiting or at least tell the truth about how long it’s gonna take , nothing . If I wasn’t asking about our order I think we would wait another 30-40 minutes. I understand that it was a busy night but at least be honest with your customers. The food was OK . Definitely wasn’t worth the waiting.
Sake flight and amazing sushi!
Always great quality sushi. Flavors that will delight your taste budds for more. I love the many gluten free and lactose free menu options. Great menu selection of Japanese traditional cooked foods. Kobe beef, chicken, noodle bowls ect. For me this is the best place compared to that hype up stiff upper lip sushie den.
Always top notch sushi from here - they absolutely know what they are doing - rolls are always well made. A+
Great sushi and service! Had some ice cream mochi as well. Very amazing!
Not sure which is sadder, that I'm giving this place 2 stars when it probably deserves 1 or that my expectations have been lowered so much by bad Denver restaurants that I've gone here more than once??It's one of those places where you're going to have a different experience every time because they're so inconsistent. The sushi will be different, the quantity of the cooked foods is also different. Most is just terrible, the rolls are big but have no flavor, the Grilled Calamari was ice cold (what do they do cook it the day before and then put it in the fridge??)I like the Crunchy Calamari and the Spicy Seafood Salad when they're good, but again, so inconsistent. Literally the portions are sometimes twice as much or half as much. No idea why.The one saving grace is they supposedly have real Wasabi. The laughable part is they charge $12 for it though. I mean seriously? It's a root that you grate off of. The one other place I went that had it they just offered it free if you asked for it. You could buy the root in Seattle when I lived there. Crazy, made me wonder about everything else I was paying for.
