Great pizza, great service. But one suggestion, pass on the $14 “Italian” and “Cesar” salads. It’s a small bowl with a sprinkle of mozzarella, carrot shavings, a couple leaves of spinach, cheap croutons, and one singular cherry tomato served with a very small side of house made Italian dressing (the dressing wasn’t half bad). The Cesar wasn’t much better. But the drinks were fully loaded, so it went from an overpriced pizza joint, to good pizza and better drinks!
Grew up eating at Ge-Jo's, and after about 30+ years, I'm happy to say they are still as great today as they were back then. Great pizza, salad, garlic knots, and service! Would totally recommend, and can't wait to go again!
Overall not a great experience. We have been many times. Have spoken to the grandsons and always want to support local. However tonight was just not what we have come to know. We ordered an appetizer of garlic bread. Server said we could do 1/2 and 1/2. Garlic and cheese. It came out correctly but when bill came it added to $16 for 6 pcs of bread. We pointed it out to her and she asked if it was okay that it was $6 more than the menu price. I should not have to ask for the correct pricing based on her error. My husband ordered a side of fries and my daughter ordered cheese sticks. The cheese sticks never came out. He had to ask about the fries, she forgot. My other daughters house salad have no croutons as menu listed. Our entrees was mediocre at best. The carrot cake was (per usual) amazing! Then when it came time to settle out bill. She presented us with one bill, but charged us higher. She said she accidentally put a beer on there. They did fix it but my family said this was their worst dining experience in over 6 months…..and we dine out a lot. I am sorry to see that it has decreased in both quality and service. It was not a staffing issue either as there were only 3 total tables in the restaurant, including us. There were 4 servers, a host and a bartender on duty. The bar top was full. Maybe that’s where the good service is?Thank you for reading and hopefully you take this feedback to improve.
Lisa our server was wonderful and so helpful. We went with the combo plate per her recommendation with the pink sauce and home made noodles, everything was absolutely to die for. Best Italian we’ve had in the area!
Not great service, not many people there and plenty of staff so no good excuse. Food is 'ok' and not at the level of the prices.Specifically asked for balsamic vinaigrette and got a cup of balsamic vinegar- no check-ins on food. Meat sauce was literally ground meat with marina poured over it (not even mixed together). Also, while minor, I think it's pretty screwy to call yourself a family restaurant and not even have a kids menu. Offering 'half portions' for more than half price (and without the side salad etc) is not a way to get people to bring their families back.Honestly more than a few 'neighborhood' Italian places around here that are better.
Pizza is delicious! Like seriously good! Their prices are creeping up but otherwise, highly recommend!
Service was good I am just not a fan of the food. This was my second time and it's just not my cup of tea.
We had a wonderful dinner here. Best pizza we have had in Denver. But the carrot cake is to die for! Our server was super nice. We also loved the traditional atmosphere. Prices are fair. I would totally recommend eating here. Only improvement would be more selections on the wine list.
Always delicious, friendly atmosphere, the best Garlic Knots, homemade spaghetti noodles wonderful, and incredible Carrot Cake. Love their pizza. Support our neighborhood local restaurant!
We went there for dinner tonight. We had pizza. I agree with what my kids said they have the “BEST PIZZA EVER” thanks GeJos!
