First time here. Good prices for portion sizes and friendly staff. Won't be the last time I eat here
Came in here about 2 days ago and wasn't very satisfied. While ordering I ask a question or two such as what meat is that one? And the girl doesn't even respond. I got the extra side of queso and it was just weird and gummy with no flavor. The tortilla strips on the top were also stale. Then when checking out, we get charged for 3 drinks when we only ordered 2. Also, what's the point of asking which meat I got when you charged the same for different meats? You'll get better and cheaper food at Chipotle
I love the food here! I do suggest ordering ahead, as the wait can be long. Also, you might want to bring some wipes for the table. They're always dirty!
Went there for the first time a couple days ago and had an excellent experience! I believe the manager was working behind the food counter and he was super courteous with making sure my first time at the restaurant was a positive one. He hooked me up with a number of samples since I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go in. He was genuinely super friendly, professional, and positive during the whole interaction - those little things really go a long ways. Food was good and a nice change of pace from the usual tex-mex restaurants in town. Thanks for the great service, I'll be back!
We usually love Cafe Rio but our most recent trip wasn't the best. My tortilla which is usually one of my favorite parts was cold and tough. And the interior of the restaurant was freezing which made it difficult to enjoy our meal.
I had placed an order online, and when I went up my daughter had passed out in the backseat and I didn’t wanna wake her up. So I called the restaurant and Oliver was so nice he brought my dinner out and he was just so sweet and professional.
Oliver and Kelsey did a fantastic job. On point, great customer service. They were fast and answered all of our questions. The food they recommended was a wonderful choice. It’s in my Top 3 burritos I’ve ever eaten. I posted a menu for you. And some pictures of the food. You must try this
Did she used to be my favorite place in the world to go eat burritos unfortunately over the last year every time I've done it seems to get worse the foods cold is skimpy on the meat or just doesn't taste good at all incredibly disappointed even the queso dip doesn't taste good anymore not only that but I always seem to get the rudest people in the world to get to wait on me. Absolutely not even worth the star that I gave it
Disappointed. I came to get 2 burritos. Ordering was rushed and didn't look like the staff understood what I was asking and just putting the food together. Did not taste authentic. Rice was undercooked. And charged over $20 for a veggie and chicken wet burrito with guac on each. Which was not worth it. Looks and tastes like cafeteria food. If you're looking for a burrito to hold in your hand, this is not the place. Sometimes bigger is not better... Quality matters. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Chipotle.
Cafe Rio is one of mine & my husbands favorite places to eat! Ollie (so sorry if I spelled the name wrong) is one of the workers there & he is SO kind & SO personable. He truly makes our visits so much sweeter. The ONLY negative thing I would say is the staff isn’t always as consistent. I know working in costumer service is hard, but having consistency on what you get when you order is important. I always order the same thing & there has been times where I don’t always get the same portion… but seriously … that’s nitpicking! You need to try their homemade sauce along with their queso. I normally get a kids quesadilla & it is more than enough food for me. Couldn’t recommend them more!
