Excellent pizza, it might be the closest to NY style in the Denver area. The sauce is good and the flavor and dough are excellent.
Best NY style pizza in Colorado! Always delicious. Always excellent service. Small town feel. We moved so it's been awhile since going there recently but they still remember us.Also, their gluten free crust is really good and they now have dairy free cheese which is hard to find for my dairy sensitive child. She was so happy to have cheese on her pizza!
Being from the east coast, my standards for pizza are high. Big Bill's meets and/or exceeds my standards with their food, for sure! The NY style pizza and a ton of other items I've tried off the menu are the best I've had since moving here a few years ago.The atmosphere is pretty dope and reminds me of a typical style NYC pizza joint in the 80s/90s. Don't worry, they have plenty of HD TVs, though!If you like pizza, definitely give this place a shot!
Food was great, probably the best pizza I've had in the Denver area. Unfortunately I ordered pickup during an apparent dinner rush. There's no online ordering, so you order over the phone and have to pay on site. When I arrived, there was a line through the restaurant and out the door. It was at least 30 minutes of standing in this line for people to pay for their food. I have no idea why paying took this long. No one from the restaurant came out to explain the situation and everyone was confused about how to request a table if they wanted to dine in.To the owners, set up online ordering and payment on your website, it's really easy to do and would save you so much time. Also, if you have a line out the door, those people are likely not in the order of which the food will be ready. Make an effort to figure out who's food will be up or is already up, and let them pay first and leave, if nothing else. The mess that was caused by this will definitely drive away your customers. Your employees were clearly stressed out by the poor design and the employee that took my payment didn't even want to answer my question and was fairly rude because he had way too much going on and couldn't handle it.
I've had the white, plain cheese and veggie pies. The white and plain cheese are consistently good, but both times I've ordered the veggie they have come out mushy and wet.
Happened upon Big Bill's by chance this afternoon, finding myself in Centennial for an appointment. However, the calzone I had was delicious, the service attentive and friendly and the atmosphere fun and sports-centric. Believe I will make the drive from Westminster with the family soon and try the pizza! Maybe get lucky and meet Big Bill himself. This is exactly the kind of restaurant I love discovering -- family-owned and one of a kind!
Delicious pizza! The crust was amazing. Our servers and hostess were great! Joe was awesome. We got a single anti pasta salad. It's big enough to share. We will be back!
Every time we transfer, we look for a pizza place worth the name. Thin, NYC style, generous toppings, not too greasy. Only three weeks in the Denver Metro and we’ve already found our new place. Great pizza (the combo), friendly staff, fair prices.
This native New Yorker knows NY style pizza. The key to NY pizza has much to do with the NY water similar to how it effects NY bagels. BIll's comes very close to the taste of NY Pizza. The crust has just the right bite to it. Not too thin and it holds up when you fold the slice in the middle. The sauce is well seasoned and there is just the right amount of cheese.. If you close your eyes while taking a bite, it's like you are sitting at one on the few tables at Prince Street Pizza. Real NY style pizza in Denver.
