Staff is very friendly. My server, Lisette, was very attentive especially as a dining alone patron. Steak tacos were delicious. The chips tastes homemade (I am sure they were but didn't read about them) and the salsa has a surprising kick for a non-chunky salsa. The crown vanilla mule was delicious too!
Excellent place for food quality and price was great staff was super friendly and attentive.
Phenomenal. I do wish they had a couple more vegetarian options but I decided to go with the ratatouille and did NOT regret it. I also had some of the spicy pineapple coleslaw and it was seriously the best coleslaw I’ve ever had. The best food and service I’ve had in a long time! Even staff that weren’t assigned to our table checked on us regularly which just showed how much everyone cared. The patio is beautiful and it was all around a great experience. I can’t remember the name of our waitress but I think it was Caelyn? She was awesome!
I'm posting this a while after visiting for the first time so I don't remember all of the details and the names of the items but I'll do my best (I was busy after I went so I didn't get to leave a review then). The environment was pretty rowdy which makes sense because it was a Friday night but it was a pretty cool atmosphere from what I remember. I got lettuce wraps [Picture below] as an appetizer and they were delicious but a little on the salty side. The street tacos [Picture below] were good too but I also have a suggestion for them; and that is to add a sauce for a more distinguished flavor and texture. I know there is a sauce on them already but it just wasn't enough to enhance and combine the natural flavors from the meat, onions, tomatoes, ect. I think it would be delicious if, in addition to the guacamole, the meat had a sweet and/or salty marinade. (Hopefully this review was understandable lol, I was trying to describe what was missing and it's just hard to explain).Overall, this place has a wide variety of foods to choose from and I'm excited to try other items and I definitely think it's worth a visit!
I want to start by saying I'm not from Colorado, my family and I drove up to visit. This burger, the bison burger, is probably the best burger I've had in my life. And the potato scoops are genius. We also had wings, and they were delicious.I loved the atmosphere, it was fun. My server, Bill, was fantastic. He was attentive but didn't hover, he made amazing recommendations and didn't steer us in the wrong direction. Everything was decently priced, and I want to go back immediately for another burger
I drive by this places every day and decided to give it a try.. Everything looked good and smelled good. The staff were very friendly but the prices ($7.50 for a Blue Moon pint) were a killer. Looking at the prices on the menu this place just isn't competitive with other places along Arapahoe Rd. Wishing them luck being local small business, but I could support local elsewhere and donate to a local charity for the same high quality of food.
Got 2 beers here at 4pm on a Thursday afternoon. 1 bartender and 12 customers sitting around the HUGE bar. Service was REALLY slow. Painfully slow. I finished my first beer and had to wait 15 minutes for her to come to the other side of the bar to even acknowledge that I wanted another. Poured the beer and left it sitting under the tapper for another 5 minutes. Took 20 minutes to get the tab closed out. This obviously is not a great place to have a beer while your kid's at baseball practice because you'll be late. If you have nothing else to do with the rest of your evening, it is a really nice establishment.
Great staff and service. From the south the gumbo is lit. Thanks guys. Love this place. My go to. And to the owners thanks for ur service.
Tried this Tavern on a whim while ironically trying to go to another restaurant close by. The service was excellent right off the bat. The bar wasn't too terribly busy but this place feels more geared to the sitting down for a relaxing time and not the rowdy party like atmosphere like many other bars which is a very welcome change. The food was extremely good and definitely was worth the money. The steak skewers are a definite need to get. They were juicy and the sauce on them was fantastic! The wife got the all American burger and I got the bravo burger and they were cooked to perfection! The fries that come with them must have been fried by some master chef because they were the perfect crisp and tasted great also. Will be coming here alot more! This place is truly a wonderful bar and tavern.
I had the bison burger. It was very good!! My only complaint was the noise level. It was too loud to hear the staff.Edit - Nov. 21, 2021. On this visit, the sound level was notably lower. So I’ve edited my star rating from 4 to 5 stars. It’s a great place to watch a game and get some fantastic food.
