We went here last night for the first time what a treasure!!! The service was amazing and the food was some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had. The portions are large and our server told us so we wouldn’t over order. We also took home some sweets from up front to die for. They’ll be adding a deli real soon so they’ll be open for lunch too. This will be a regular visit. BTY the pizzas going out looked amazing!!

Very disappointing. Food is awesome but customer service, not so good. I placed an order to pick up and girl on the phone quote 50-55 min. OK cool, I figured I'd give them and hour and then leave my house. It's only a 2 min drive so I got there one hour and 5min since I placed the order. I walk up to the counter and there are 6-8 people back there, running around. I literally stood there for 15 min without a single person acknowledging me. Not a "hi there, be right with you" just people running around looking at me standing there. 20 min later someone finally asks my name, only to tell me that they are behind and it'll be another 20 min. I am usually pretty easy going and very reasonable, however this isn't the first time the service has been bad. The first time we actually came in and sat down. Regardless, acknowledge your customers? Especially when someone is standing at the counter for 15+min. I honestly felt bad for the 2 girls that were standing behind me.

If you like steamed muscles (and garlic) you need to try this restaurant, best I've had in the Denver area so far! The caprese appetizer was also very good, lots of fresh mozzarella, and their dinner portions are huge, great prices to boot! Really cute restaurant in Castle Rock, live music most nights, and friendly staff, not sure how it took me so long to discover this place in front of the theater, but so glad we tried it. Will definitely be back!

If you want a little piece of Italy in your backyard, this is the place. A true Mom and Pop shop locally owned with phenomenal Italian cuisine and service, this place never disappoints. I can truly say I always walk out of here with a smile and a full stomach, the staff is super friendly and personable, and the food is amazing to say it’s anything but outstanding, would be an understatement. James the owner is a class act, a true gentleman and friend, he is always super eager to please and accommodate his customers he goes above and beyond, to make sure you have an absolutely great experience and if you want a great cocktail Tyler is the man, A must stop if you’re in Castle Rock! I highly recommend the Pizza and Lasagna!

Cute place but severely understaffed and I get it, at this point who isn't but we were told 5-10 minutes to get a table, 30 minutes later we sat down. The waiter, although pleasant, forgot to enter our appetizer then offered us free bread (literally pieces of cut up French loaf, not warm). Our appetizer arrived 15 minutes later and our food (ordered at the same time) came out 1 hour and 10 minutes later. Crazy long wait for the food which wasn't all that great. Baked Penne good but WAY TOO MUCH garlic. My husband said his mouth was burning from the amount of garlic and I could smell him a mile away. I had the 4 cheese lasagna with the extra Bolognese sauce. Mind you I LOVE lasagna but with the Bolognese sauce this would have been straight noodles stacked with very little cheese. Wouldn't order either dish again or return. Seems to be a place for locals (which I am) and lots of takeout for food and deserts. They have potential but there is definitely room for improvement. When the waiter has to apologize for the wait that's not good.

We tried these guys for take out for my birthday a few days ago and it was delicious. They had gluten free options, huge portions, and their food was delicious. I really like how many pasta, sauce, and protein options there are on the menu, in addition to their specialties. They serve Italian espresso and desserts, too! Not only is their food good, but also their service is fantastic and friendly. They have dine-in and take-away options, and go above and beyond if there's any issue with your order. We highly recommend dining with The Old North End.

As much as I want a local neighborhood restaurant to succeed, I simply can't bite my tongue on Old North End. While we've had wonderful experiences here in the past, it seems ownership doesn't actually take complaints seriously.Rather than going to established restaurants in Castle Rock, I decided to give our local Italian restaurant the business for Valentine's Day. Little did I know they'd ruin the evening for countless couples and families. After two hours of having patience with the staff and restaurant, we ultimately left without ever getting our entree. The same was true for countless other tables in the restaurant. While the wait staff were as friendly as could be, given their complete lack of support from management, they were as clueless as the kitchen. Utensils? Had to ask two different servers and wait over 15 minutes. Wine? Would have been faster to drive to Bubbles, buy a bottle, drive back, and pour my own glass. Status of our food order? Server had to come back three times to ask us what we had even ordered, after sitting there for over an hour.I'm a patient patron that expected longer than normal service times on Valentine's Day, but this sub-par service seems to be an ongoing trend with Old North End that has yet to be addressed. As much as I don't want this retail space to turn into another medical office like countless other spaces have, that's ultimately going to be the fate if ownership/management doesn't take a long hard look at the business they are trying to run.

This place is great! To start, the owners and staff are all awesome and good people. You can tell they truly care. Then the food… always amazing. Pizza, calzones, homemade baked goods, etc are delicious. I’d recommend this place to any and all. Stop by, you won’t regret it.

We went on a busy night and could tell the restaurant was not normally this busy. Some of the staff were not very professional about this and I though my pasta was flavorless, although I was told the pizza was very good.

My husband and i decided to try old north end today for a late lunch. The service was great and so was the food! My only complaint would be, i had to add a bunch of salt to my food cause it seemed it wasnt added to the pasta water for my penne. But, i tried my husband's lasagna it was awesome!. Also, they have fresh made cookies and pastries too! I bought a lemon cookie, a chocolate chip and another different special chocolate chip drizzled in chocolate. The lemon cookie was the BEST cookie ive ever had! Thank you for being awesome and we'll be back!!
