Love this little gem! Always great service, friendly faces, and delicious food! Greats prices as well!
Absolutely love this place! It’s consistently delicious, clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. My go to is the all day sized chorizo breakfast burritos with their homemade red hot sauce- yum!
The protocol is: order at the counter, pick your own seat, get your own soft drinks, they find you with a number, and they bus the table. We forgot to get our own silverware, and the staff-person got it for us. There was no wait to order, and the wait for the food was maybe under ten minutes. The salsa and food were good, and the prices were reasonable. It is a cute old building. The only issue was that there was a short facial hair in the food, but we would give it another chance.
Dos Amigos is one of the most consistently solid and fast Mexican food places to get if you are in the area. Ive never had a bad meal from here regardless of if I dine in or get good togo. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. If there was a 6th star id be tempted to give it to this place.
Food was ok, the restaurant has good green chile but the combinations seemed off. The enchilada didn’t come with a red Chile sauce, but green Chile… (picture attached). The flavor was ok but not what I expected from a enchilada. The green chile fries would have been good if they had used shoe string fries, but instead they used thick fries that aren’t cooked all the way through so it tastes more like potato and overpowers the great flavor of the green chile. The beef burrito is ok but the beef seasoning overpowered the yummy green Chile.
Best Mexican restaurant in town! AND the most affordable! Michelada is to die for!
Best on the block best and fast service so good
This place is AMAZING! I'm a big fan of breakfast burritos and when I saw this place had a ton of cars in the parking lot at 10am on a Sunday, I had to stop in and give it a try. Boy am I glad I did. I ordered a potato, egg, and chorizo burrito smothered for only $6.99! The burrito is gigantic (check the photo)and tastes so good. I also ordered a margarita which is fantastic! On top of that, they serve you chips and salsa which also taste good. I will definitely be back. Thanks Dos Amigos!!!
Just disappointed. My second time to give it another chance and the carnitas were dry and cold, like it's been sitting there for awhile. Tortas bread was not fresh, tortillas from the tacos were probably the worst we've ever had. Fries were sad. Other Mexican places in the area are better. I was really hoping it would be a better experience. I just can't recommend this place.
TL;DR: large amount of eggshells throughout fairly bland and cold burrito but green chile was good.First time going. I had been thinking about a breakfast burrito all morning and I was so excited to try this place after seeing all the reviews. Quick service and easy to order. First bite was ok bland and a little cold but the green chile was good, and added a lot of flavor which is why I'm still giving 3 stars.Unfortunately the next few bites were occasionally crunchy and that was very confusing. I assumed maybe it was just the cooked edges of the chorizo. Nope, I look down and there's a half an egg shell in the burrito I had apparently been eating (pictured piece is ). I didn't finish the other 3/4 of it...I won't say I won't be back because I'm sure it was just an accident and there's very few breakfast burrito places here but I'll for sure be looking at every bite on the next one...
