We have ordered from here frequently until hair was found in our food. You want to give them the benefit of doubt right? Small family business yada yada so I’m very embarrassed to admit I’ve gone back after finding hair in my food WELL over 4x.Today it was a nice short, dark, what appeared to be an arm hair ( I hope ??).Unfortunately I have come to the conclusion that this may be happening ON PURPOSE…I eat out frequently and can go years and years without seeing any hair in my food. But this place manages to put hair in the food 1/4 times… how incredible… starting to look malicious indeed.

There food is very yummy! I ended up without the sweet & sour sauce that came with my meal. When I returned several minutes later to ask them if I could pay for more sauce, they were very kind and understanding. They gave me 2 sauces and a little extra treat for free. It was a selfless thing to do for someone who was having a rough day.

I would love for them to put the sauce on the chicken before they serve it to me so it can marinate in the sauce and it will taste way better than me dip in it into the sweet and sour sauce

Best sesame chicken in town! It's tangy and spicy, not soggy - hallelujah! I almost wrote them off because of the four star average and I'm so thankful I didn't. They were also super kind and patient when placing my order.

Just went here on review recommendation. Re view said it's much better than Tasty House, which is close to my house. It was about the same. Food seemed precooked and my special request was not done. Food just ok, barely.

Food is decent but overpriced and they can’t count. You have to sign a tip receipt which is baloney for pick up, pay with cash.

China Café is some of the best Chinese food that I have ever had! When we entered the restaurant, there were stacks of food ready for pickup and delivery. This was a good sign of things to come. The atmosphere is cozy and their lots of booths to sit at. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The owner appeared and came over to welcome us to the restaurant personally. We started with the Vietnamese Egg Rolls and Crab Cheese Wontons and they were outstanding. The Vietnamese Egg Rolls were packed with a delicious chicken and pork combination and a large serving. The Crab Cheese Wontons were warm and flavorful. We ordered a variety of plates, so we could all try different things and share. The table was filled with generous portions of all of the dishes. Their Orange Chicken must be their best seller, because it was the best that I have ever eaten. The chicken had an amazing crunch when you took a bite. The Orange sauce was homemade and you could taste the fresh orange and hint of chili peppers. The Jalapeno Beef dish was full of delicious tender beef with a flavorful sauce that tasted of fresh jalapenos. The Drunkin Noodle plate with beef was fresh and flavorful. The noodles were cooked perfectly and must have been homemade. Once again the beef was tender and tasty. The Fried Rice with shrimp was excellent and had a lot of shrimp. Even though we had enough food to feed a small army, we ordered the Sesame Rolls for desert. They had an amazing texture and a delicious flavor.Be prepared to take home some delicious food, because we ate until we were full and still had enough left over for several more meals. If you are fortunate enough to live near the China Café, you definitely need to try it! There is no doubt in my mind, you become a regular after you do. I drive through Castle Rock often on I-25, so I will be back often...

Moo Gu Gai pan sucks all it has in it is chicken, mushroom, water chestnuts and maybe 10 snow peas in it. The worst I’ve ever had!

I hadn't been to the China Cafe in years. My prior experience was poor, but I'd heard it had improved. Unfortunately, it was just as bad as last time. First impression was a shoddy interior. Then the service was so slow I seriously thought about leaving as I had only an hour for lunch. It took a long time just to get a menu. I had to hurry through the meal, but there was nothing to savor in any case. It wasn't terrible, just bland and edible. There are at least three Chinese/Asian restaurants in Castle Rock that are much better.

Quintessential Chinese American spot inconspicuously located in a shopping center. Lunch combo had great portions, good flavors, and the right price. Worth a stop!
