One of our favorite go-to places. The food is always, excellent and the service is good. The only complaint we have is that every time we visit we have to ask for the senior menu now(We are in our 70s). This has happened on our last three visits to this location. On our last visit, two other couples who were obviously well over 60 also had to request the senior menu after they were seated. Both couples were asked if they knew what they wanted or did they want the waiter to actually bring them a senior menu. We asked about it and were told that the wait staff was told not to give them to seniors unless they ask for them now. If you are over 60 make sure you ask or you will not be offered one. This really is one of our favorite Black-eyed Peas, but this is a wee bit annoying after always being given both menus in the past.
Not the first time we have been disappointed with their on-line ordering. They closed early last night due to weather (which is fine) but did not close their "service" Took our $, we drove to pick up only to find lights out and doors closed. What is truly disappointing is the money is out of our account and now we have to wait a number of days for it to be "credited back" There will be no gift card given for our inconvenience. We are being told it is not Black-Eyed Pea's fault, that is the fault of the on-line ordering service. Fine way to pass the buck there.
We had a great server. The food was ok. My major problem was going to the bathroom and there being absolutely no hot water. I let the faucet run for a minute (I know waste of water), but I just had to see if it even got slightly warm, definitely didn't. Makes me wonder if the kitchen has hot water!
If you are going to outlet malls, visit is must to Black eyed pea. We simply loved every single thing we ordered. We had corn bread cup cakes, bread muffins, baked loaded potato, salad and stake. Everything was yummy. Our server was very nice and high energy.
I have some special dietary restrictions and only eat about 3oz of food. I was greated with a smile and them being able to accommodate me. I am beyond pleased with my experience and will be back for sure. Megan was great and I appreciate her help!
Long wait to be seated, not because they were busy but because no employees were visible. Pork chops were great but wife's scrambled eggs seemed like they were from powdered
We have rarely been disappointed here. The fried chicken anything is delicious. I really like the chicken and dumplings too. The salads and dressings are also really good. My husband got the ribeye. It needed salt, but aside from that it was pretty good.
I love the food at Black-eyed Pea as a whole. However this Sunday morning we went in to try breakfast was a little disappointed that none of the wait staff were wearing masks nor were the customer is required to wear masks during the wait to be seated. But me and my family decided to eat out on the patio away from other customers and was only exposed to the one waitress so that made the visit very acceptable to me and my family. I do worry about Mask because of an autoimmune disease. But as usual the food was great the service was great and because we had the option to sit on the patio that made my family feel very comfortable.
Was surprisingly delicious from appetizers to desert and very good service! Went for a late Sunday birthday dinner after walking the Outlets. They've got comfort food in the bag!!
Down home country cooking. While other restaurants gave our Party of 7 a wait time of over 45 min, the staff at Black-eyed Pea was polite and made room for us in less than 10 minuets despite being busier than the other places we has checked.Food was good and fair priced. Check outv the jalapeño gravy!
