My husband and I went in last night to order food to-go around 7:00pm. There was a gentlemen in front of us ordering food which took several minutes. About 10 minutes go by and the woman working the counter and the man complete his order. Once the order is completed and the man walks away, the woman working the counter does not address us or even acknowledge us standing there at all. She just walks away. Another several minutes go by and she does not return. At this point, we were frustrated and decide to leave. I am writing this bad review because it would have taken her 5 seconds to acknowledge us and just say "I am sorry for your wait, I will be right back to take your order." As local customers, I expect better service from establishments such as this.
I rather like this place but my wife does not, so we don’t go there often. Lots of famous people have been there. They are kind. I’d rather like the food.
I ordered ahead for to go. It was ready by the time I arrived [very quickly.] The fan tail shrimp and sesame beef was both very good. Since I got to go I won’t dock them for the sesame beef not being crunchy. The flavor was very good. The shrimp was still slightly crisp despite eating after driving home. If I had been eating there I really love the crispy duck with straw mushrooms. Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.
Everyone, be diligent and double check your bill before paying for your order as these guys are charging a mandatory minimum of 15% gratuity and asking for a tip without informing customer that the 15% gratuity was already put towards the bill. Not anywhere on my ticket was the 15% gratuity documented or noted. The bill was just for $69.06 for two plates that, on their menu, was $16.95 and a $12.95 thing of sesame chicken. Now according to my math it is not $69.06. And my wife left a $10.00 tip not doing the math. I just thought it was kind of expensive paying $79.00 just for two people to eat was a little on the steep side. After I went back and brought it to their attention, they played dumb and basically said that’s what they charge. Even though their menu says otherwise. I went online and put our exact order in to see what the cost was gonna be, and the total equaled exactly what my ticket was because they force a 15% gratuity on ALL ONLINE ORDERS and apparently ALL DINE IN ORDERS, as well!!! Don’t believe me??? Go see what happens when you aren’t paying attention with these guys!! I actually think it’s a crime what they are doing. If it happens to you, I think they should be reported for this. It’s unacceptable
I ordered Pad Thai with beef and it was excellent.
This place is dishonest through and through. I've ordered from them 3 times and each time items that are listed as included in my meal have been missing. This last time, they charged more for my food than they list on their website or brochure. When I called to resolve the issue they offered just a free cheese wonton for over charging by $10. You'd be smart to stay away from this place they will steal from you in any way they can.
Great food fair prices. but they continue to either not put any rice in my orders bag or tonight they tried to say I had 2 lunch entrees so I only get one side of rice… I had 2 dinner entrees so I should get two containers of rice correct? I couldn’t believe this lady was arguing with me about it. I wouldn’t be posting if I haven’t been burned for not checking my bag for rice multiple times. Context this was my family’s childhood Chinese restaurant I’ve been eating here for over 20 years this is only recently.
I order a lunch dish that cost $9.75. The bill was for $12.72. I did the math, they charged me 30% tip plus taxes. What a rip off. Do not eat at this restaurant. If you decide to eat at this restaurant, do not pay tip.
Spent 50.00 on pearl wok. No rice, cold food and I have been a client for over 10 years. Never again.
Just received our food. The cashew chicken had no flavor I had two cashews and mostly celery. The pork egg rolls were nothing but cabbage egg rolls. I moved to Broomfield and have not found a good Chinese food restaurant yet. Sad really.
