I'm not sure how this establishment has been given 4.5 star rating. The description of the two sandwiches I purchased sounded good. The actual sandwiches just meat and bread no onions and no bell peppers. End result two sandwiches priced high and missing two if the main topping and steak tasted like ground beef. Thanks
The best Philly around here. Seriously. I worked for a guy form Philly and he would make us these delicious authentic Philly cheesesteaks and this are the only place that compares! So good!
This is the real deal. Going to college in NJ outside of Philly, I know what a cheese stake should be and this is it. The only thing slightly off is the bread but that is impossible to imitate without the local, very hard water. The bread is still darn close. Don't forget the Zucchi sticks!
Wow - really good cheesesteaks! The grand slam was recommended to us first-timers and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back to try other options on the menu!
I've eaten here a few times before but never left a review until now. I went to the gym across the street (genius by the way) and went home and came back to try their Slam cheesesteak. Amazing. With hot peppers that are actually hot with a side of their large zucchini fries with ranch. Great and kind customer service too. Please try it!
Great folks, providing plenty of " Philly Original "options, a Pizza Steak Shorty, fries and a coke, very filling and reasonable. Coming back to try more, for sure !! Look for it , Or you Will Miss it !! By JAX and Ur there! Def Worth the ride over !
Old Philly Town has the best philly sandwiches I've ever eaten outside of Philly itself. We always get the slam with fries, because that combo is like a really bad addiction but really good too. The staff members there work fast and it's fun to watch them cooking in the back when you can get a peek through the line of customers. Everything from the meat to the bread to the amount of liquid in the sandwiches are spot on, and the fries come out hot and crispy on the outside. The place is busy almost every time we go there for our pickup, so that says something about its reputation and naturally its top notch food.
Been coming here since I was a kid. I can say the new owners are very much keeping it to the original. Can hardly notice the change and that is a great thing. The new items are welcomed, but the thing for me was the little change to the original Philly sandwiches. Best in the state that I have ever found.
The pepper steak sandwich with extra meat and extra cheese was good! I am going to order a different sandwich next time though.
Ordered an 8 inch. Got less than 6 inches. Didn’t check until I got home.
