Terrible experience. Good quality food but never ordering from this company again. I really dislike giving bad reviews but I'm tired of itThe managment should be fired or needs to step their game up. Thank goodness for the front desk person.Either way this place should and needs to have a health code inspection. 100% gaurantee they will find something wrong.This store gets something wrong every single time I order whether it's the app in person or through door dash. It has happened every single time.Today walked in music was too loud could barely hear the front desk person. We decided to order directly with them online couldn't find my wife's order she placed online. Had to order a second pizza in person. Was pretty confusing. I must have stressed them out. They told me to go sit down and relax.As I was leaving the cooks in back all looked at me odd. Came home opened each pizza to find the second order I placed, the crust was more burnt then an authentic Italian pizza would ever be. Not that this is Italy but there is no excuse for this being this way. See the difference in pictures.So they must have been annoyed that I was confused and either made a mistake burning it or did it on purpose.Or maybe thier pizza oven is shot and their overworking it getting inconsistent results.Also ordered 1/2 gallon of cucumber mint lemonade but I am hesitant to drink it. Probably won't just in case it was contaminated.EDIT: Went back to show them the pizza was too burnt. The front desk person was kind enough to explain a few things and gave me a refund. If it weren't for them getting literally every single order wrong I would have changed the review.

I recently moved here and l decided to try MME and it wasn't good. It was sloppily made and the service was horrible. The cashier was having a whole conversation with one of the other employees girlfriend. They took awhile to acknowledge that l was waiting to order. The wait time was unacceptable and not worth $13.

Cashier says. We have the best Mac and cheese ever. I ordered it and it was most the disgusting thing ever. Cold. And just didn't taste fresh. I got the steak sandwich too and that thing was very tough to chew thru. The meat was just chewy it was like eating a rubber bullet. All this goodness for 22 bucks too. Not coming here again and if you're picky about your food definitely avoid this place

Like many reviewers, I also have had wonderful experiences at this location before the pandemic. Tonight, not so much. Food came 96 minutes after the “promise time”. My Buddha bowl had some wax paper in it. Employees were understandably stressed; they are saints for putting up with a crowd of irritated, hungry online orderers.Here are some suggestions for Modern Market corporate:1) Don’t promise me my order will arrive in a fake timeframe. If I knew it would take this long, I wouldn’t be here writing this review. The promise time does not appear to be associated with real-time order volume or known delays at this location. A 96 minute difference in the promise time is obviously due to a poorly coded online ordering experience.2) Perhaps consider NOT taking orders when you don’t have capacity. Other chains already use this method to deal with rush times, such as Starbucks turning off online ordering from the app when understaffed.3) I don’t know how much you pay your employees, but it clearly isn’t enough.

I ordered a grass fed steak but it was served to me cold. All of our food was cold except the pizza. The person who took our order didn't make us feel welcomed. The food portions were relatively small but we did appreciate the quality.

I love Modern Market; however, the service here is all over the place. The food generally turns out really well, but the staff aren't the friendliest, depending on the day. I came here about a month ago around 7:45pm and there Google listing said they were open until 9pm as did the window decals on their front doors, but the app said 7pm, so I was really confused. The open sign was on and the doors were unlocked when I got there as w, so I went in. However, when I entered the building, what I assumed to be the manager, told me they were closed. This was a bit frustrating because I worked in food for 5+ years and the biggest no-no was leaving the doors unlocked if you were no longer serving food (especially if you were closing earlier than what was posted without any signage on the door informing the public of an early closure). I completely understand that everywhere is having a challenging time keeping good staff on deck, but at the very least, communicate effectively with your guests that that's what you're dealing with.

Sad to write this post. The food is creative and tasty. But I cannot bring myself to ever go back. Loyal customer for years at various other locations in Colorado and DC/Maryland. This particular location in Broomfield was the worst take out experience I've ever had. The cashier kept saying, "I don't know how to do that" for simple request. We asked for the order to go and only one of our meals was made to go - because she thought we didn't mean the entire order. All we said was, we would like to make this to go. I didn't know we needed to specify every item in the order needed to be to go. Then I ordered my sandwich gluten free and it was not made gluten free. We were not told when our order was ready so waited an extra 15 min only to find out the order needed to be remade. By that time we were frustrated. We got in the car and they didn't put the cookies we ordered in the bag. We were already late so we just drove off. But this was the most unorganized take out I've ever seen. I hope the owner sees this so training can be provided. While I will never go back to this location, maybe it will make the experience better for someone else.

I’ve been here for more than 10 min and no one comes out to let us know that someone will be right with us .. last night we came to get food and it was the same situation here with the same workers.. I just told the guy that we’ve been waiting and he said oh I was outside taking the trash out.. And I’m sorry but if he is in charge of the register he should be attending customers. Like I said I don’t believe it, since we were here last night and it happened the same. I’m very disappointed with the service. Food is good that is why I continue coming.

I’ll never forget this dining experience. First, it took 40 minutes to receive my steak sandwich. I noticed it tasted kind of…off. But after 40 minutes I was committed to eating it. Then as I was half way through the sandwich I took I bite I’ll never forget. The steak was spoiled…rotten. That’s what had been off. This particular bite smelled like feces and tasted RANCID. I immediately ran outside to vomit…too late. So, 8 hours later here I am typing this sitting on the porcelain throne with food poisoning. Valentine’s Day ruined. Highly avoid this location.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Waited for 45 minutes for my lunch which was a bowl of Tomato Basil Soup for them to bring it to me freezing cold. I immediately took it back for the manager to look at me and say it's going to be awhile WE ARE BUSY. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, I JUST WAITED 45 MINUTES FOR A BOWL OF COLD SOUP. I'm glad I decided to come here for lunch with my boss to leave knowing I will NEVER come back to another Modern Market. Worse customer service EVER. Take your business elsewhere
