Placed an online order 1 hr 15 minutes in advance asked for it to be ready at 6:30PM it wasn’t ready until 7:00PM. I was charged $1 more for the combo #8 and combo #4 than what was shown on their website and was told they haven’t updated the website to reflect new menu pricing. Ordered a corona bottle to drink while i waited for the food and charged me 6$ for one Corona, when a case of 24 coronas is like $24ish dollars so thats approximately a 600 percent markup, the combo #4 looked like a bowl of soup. Disorganized is an understatement for this establishment. On a positive note, The hostess, and the waiter who came over to sell me a beer at the bar, because they dont actually have a bartender provided good customer service. 10/10 Do not recommend this place of business to anyone to eat at. Sorry.
This place used to be awesome, good service, good food but something has changed recently. The quality of food is poor. I order Chile con queso and got nacho cheese from a can they got Sam's Club. They didn't have one of the items I ordered (for a combo #11) so instead of letting me know, they just gave me three items and charged me full price. I noticed when I got home the item was missing and when I called to ask they said "I talked to my manager and we don't make gorditas anymore." This place used to be a favorite now I won't go back. It's sad because I would prefer to support local businesses but I'll spend my money elsewhere now.
Corona is not a terrible place, but it's a low-class place designed to seem like a high class. The wait takes forever, even to get drinks. We got chips as soon as we sat down but one basket for three hungry people was quickly gone and we didn't get more. There was one server, who was very kind and helpful, but one with no one else really left a statement of how poor quality of service there is.The food isn't very good, the tacos are always soggy, and it's just not the best place. It's not necessarily terrible to go to, but you shouldn't go in with high expectations.
I love Carona's! My first visit was after the lunch rush...probably around 1:30 or 2 p.m. I ordered the enchilada plate and it was everything I had hoped for. Generous portions, excellent taste, arrived hot. While the food was great, it was Millie, our server, who sealed the deal for me. She was polite & attentive (offering not only chips and salsa as we waited for our entrees, but sour cream and guacamole!) Best of all...she was HAPPY! Where do you find THAT these days? It was so very pleasant to have a server who was enjoying her job. We tipped her accordingly. Kudos to Carona's for a great first experience.
Poor service and food was so so. This place used to be good, but has gone downhill. There were only a few tables in the restaurant with people. We waited so long for our food and I asked for some more chips and salsa. The server told me that they charge for more chips and salsa, but for just this one time he won’t charge me. They charged $5.75 for a simple side of rice and beans, extra for tomatoes, extra for a tortilla with my meal. I don’t expect anything for free, but not to be nickeled and dimed. I tried to talk to the owner (Apparently it was the mother of the owner) she rolled her eyes and walked away, I called to try to talk to her and she hung up. Incredibly disappointed with the service and treatment.
The service was great! I ordered menudo, fajita burrito, and churros with ice cream. The strawberry margarita was also excellent.
We have ordered take out twice in the past 2 months. Both times had mistakes, and I will no longer order take out from Corona's.First order: I forget the date. We ordered 5 meals and 1 appetizer over the phone. We received 4 meals and 1 appetizer. They completely left a meal out. Mistake was fixed with no issue.Second order: 5/23/22. Ordered 5 meals and 1 appetizer over phone. Again we received 4 meals and 1 appetizer. Again, had to wait extra time for the missed meal. When we got home, we realized that the meal we had to wait on (Combo #9) had an incorrect item in it. So not only did they forget some of our order, but when they attempted to correct it they gave us the wrong thing. So in 2 orders, they messed up 3 things. It's not even an "0 for 2", it's a -1 out of 2. The only way to order take out is over the phone, maybe that's the issue? The music is always really loud in the background when I'm trying to order, maybe they can't hear? If anyone from Corona's reads this, I highly recommend implementing online ordering, because your order takers are failing. Terribly. To anyone else reading this, I highly recommend AGAINST ordering takeout from Corona's. If you do, check your order before leaving, and actually check all burritos, enchiladas, tostadas, etc... for correct fillings. It's a shame because the food is good and I will eat there again. But only for dine-in.
The appetizer we had was really good Jalapeños Zapades (not sure of the name) Tamales was pretty tasty. Burritos was not too bad. Only my fajitas was a little disappointed.. so little meat and the onion and green peppers were mountain load.If you like a drink the Mexican Mule was really good. Server very friendly ?
Recently visited, very bad food, service not much better. My food as so over-salted that I could hardly finish it. Not to mention that it’s overpriced. Not worth your time or money.
Walked in and got sat right away. However, they didn’t tell us there was a ~30 min wait because their ONE waitress was having a meltdown because “I’m so stressed guys” and had to go. Which is fine except there were two other girls standing around doing nothing. Is it that hard to put orders in and take food out??? I would be frustrated too if I worked with two girls that just stood around looking pretty. Was very excited to try the food but unfortunately will never go back. Do not go and if you decide to ask the wait time because they are not transparent about this!
