Do not eat or work here. Bad culinary practices, only the managers have food handlers, and the owner insists that the toppings left on the trays (for hours) that fell off of previous pizzas, and should be put back into the containers for later future pizzas (dried pieces of bell pepper and sausage). You can even hear the owner and his wife argue in the back of the store..... There are definitely better, more comforting and more appetizing places then this location. I was even told by the wife of the owner that the can opener they have in the back is dull and when I went to use it, I had to pick out metal shavings from the sauce..... Don't know if everyone else who's worked here notice but... Ya... They are only in it for the money and they cut corners.
this place has terrible service. full of attitude. and the most expensive pizza you will pay for to come Cold, not cut. burnt or even having huge bubbles in it where it's raw. then when you try to tell them it taste weird they told me well if all the slices are there we can take that one and replace it. I said well how the heck would we know it tasted weird and uncooked if we didn't try it. I understand If more than two pieces were gone but my 5 year old took a bite of one piece and said it was yucky so I tried it and sure enough it was not fully cooked. and they said they couldn't replace it unless the pizza was whole. so I took the piece out of the trash that we took a bite out of and the spit part in the paper towel and sent it to them that way so they would remake my pizza. I could hear them laughing in the back ground too while I was telling them how would I know how it tasted if I didn't try a piece and how if have to get it out the trash. the girl said it was the owners rules not hers. I'll be taking my money else where from here on out. save your self from a bad experience. the papajohns in brighton off bridge st. is terrible.
Ordered online, I didn't get a confirmation. So I decided to call and they did receive the order. It was just a weird experience they other charged when we paid in-person when confronted they gave some money back but still shorted just a dollar something. And then when we asked for a receipt they asked why we needed one. Plus it took way longer then the order said it would be ready by.
Ordered at 5:11 tonight. Pizza arrived cold and old looking at 6:45 PM. Maybe before I ordered I should have read the reviews. Won't be ordering from them again. Maybe they should offer at least a coupon or take money off the order.
Arrived an hour late and cold. Called to talk to the manager and was told sorry, best we can do. We’ve ordered here a lot in the past, will be looking for alternatives next time. I get having to deal with staffing challenges, but at $20 / pizza delivered, the restaurant should still make it right when they can’t deliver as expected.
Absolutely terrible service! Do not order from this location!! Was told an hour wait time, after 2 hours I called and spoke to a manager who said her name was Caroline. She said she would not give me a refund or compensate in any way. She said this is a Friday night and there are staff shortages. Which I completely understand but to underestimate your time frame by an hour and a half is absolutely unacceptable.
Received my pizza after about an hour and a half of ordering it. Spent over $50 and the pizza was very cold and looked old. I called and spoke with a young girl who claimed to be a manager and said her name was Caroline. She said that we could get a replacement but only if all the pizza was in the box. I’ve never heard that before. I could hear the staff in the back ground laughing as she also started laughing. Very unprofessional and childish. She said the owners name was Vishal and that he was the one who made the rules of not replacing the pizza if any of the slices were missing. I would give 0 stars if I could. This Papa Johns has little kids who have no work ethic working there. How embarrassing to have such horrible workers. I don’t recommend ordering from here. When I told her I was going to leave a bad review she started laughing and said go head and put a bad review.
Placed an order online and upon submitting I realized I needed to make corrections. I called the restaurant to cancel the order and rent-a-manager Susanne offered to make the corrections I needed over the phone. I gladly accepted but she failed to mention my order would be 50% more since specials are only valid online (because according to her I should’ve known this). She also failed to give me a total on the phone and an itemized receipt when my husband picked up the order. He received a credit card receipt only. When I called her to politely ask about the charges, she immediately raised her voice and said this was my fault because it’s the customers job to ask all of these things. SUSANNE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL! She offered absolutely no resolution or apology and ultimately I was to blame for her incompetent job performance.Upon reading other reviews it seems the people at this establishment don’t know how to speak to customers. Going forward, I will take my money elsewhere. There are plenty of other pizza spots in the area. I encourage others who value good customer service to do so as well.
So tonight we decided to order pizza from papa John's here. We ordered it at 6pm and it didn't get delivered until just after 8pm. Just over 2 hours. Absolutely ridiculous. Will definitely not be ordering from them again.
Placed a small order on Nov. 5 and was quoted 34-43 minutes. Didn’t actually receive the pizza for over 90 minutes, which I didn’t mind because restaurants are short staffed. When the delivery driver handed the pizza to my husband, he said “sorry it’s so late” and then walked off. All good. But, when you forget to bring the sauces that I paid for, I’m kind of peeved at that point. Called the manager and asked for someone to please bring the sauces and she said I’d have them in 10 minutes since the location is less than 2 miles from my house. Took 30 minutes to get the second delivery, and food is cold. Needless to say, I’ll give my hard earned money to a company that can run a competent business. The Papa John’s on Bridge has proved they aren’t.
