Any Mexican food is good, that's just the nature of it. But "La Estrellita" or "La Le" as I call it, has a different taste to it. It's not Mexican-American food, it's simply pure, traditional Mexican food. There is some American stuff but that's just for the picky eaters or whatever. I haven't had any of the margaritas, but I've heard their some of the best.
The food here is great. I would recommend eating in though because anytime I’ve ever ordered take out, I get significantly less chili then when we eat inside. I’ve actually had to complain the first and check my food the second time and ask for extra. I’m not being dramatic either lol, I’ll attach a photo of the potion of chili we got on our Togo order. The first is today’s order. The second is the first time.
Don't miss out on this hidden gem! If you are within 50 miles of this place consider the short drive a privilege to enjoy some of the best authentic chile rellenos, enchiladas, fajitas, and some incredible green chili!Went last night and was blown away with wonderful service? ( Thank you Andrea and Alexis)above and beyond! This is MUST stop by restaurant!
The service was fast and food was good. It has a darker environment but a nice cozy feeling.
This place is not one of my top recommendations. The margaritas were big and they tasted good they were low and alcohol and the food is something that you would possibly get from Stauffers. Not a good dinner place not good atmosphere not a clean dwelling. Although the food wasn't good I did not get sick and although the margarita was big and good it was $16 for one without tags without tip. Service was good but the wait was long not that many places in Old Brighton to really go out to
Wanted something new so I looked in Brighton and found this spot. I had the #9 combo and it was delicious. I thought I was going to be underwhelmed by a bean and beef burrito but the hot green chili sent it totally over the top. It was 8 degrees out so it was just what I needed. The staff was great and the service was very fast, even though they were fairly busy. A little confusing entrance, but I'll chock it up to character. Overall this is going to definitely be added to my rotation.
Service was fast and friendly and the food was pretty good. Interior was clean but seems a little dated to me.They were pretty busy on a Saturday for lunch so expect a wait.Entrance is easiest off N. 1st Ave & strong st. With parking lot on N. 1st Ave across from entrance.
Quite a quaint, little place with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The servers were poignant and responding well to little requests we had throughout the meal.Very recommended when going through Brighton.
Everything we have tried here is delicious. The wings are the best I’ve ever had and the chili rellenos are wonderful. The staff is always super nice. Can’t wait to go back for the desert nachos, which we’ve had before but are usually too full to order them.
Rosa was our waitress and was wonderful. The food was great, we were offered whole beans or refried on our sides.. Of course I got the whole beans! I also had a cup of menudo to try their version, I was not disappointed. Great! Carne Asada was tender and flavorful. I'd go again. Recommend.
