We have been dining at Yurihana for years. Always a good time. Love the food.
Good sushi, kinda rushed through our order, but decent sushi for the price
I realllllly like to support the little guy/the local business, but I was seriously put off this evening. After giving this place a two year hold, I decided to give them another try since we live in the neighborhood. We ordered for pick up, and when my husband arrived home with the food: 1. we were missing an item that we paid for (in cash). We called to figure it out. They did not apologize. They asked if we could come back to pick up the item they took our money for but forgot to pack. I told them that if I did that that my dinner would get cold, and also that my husband would have to drive 10 minutes each way again to go retrieve it, wasting time & gas. They "offered" that I could pick it up tomorrow (?!). I asked if they could throw in something else to make up for the hassle and cost that their mistake had made me and they offered 1 egg roll (?!). I requested that they deliver it and they first told me that my address was in Boulder (but it is actually in Gunbarrel, where they also are) so they could not deliver it. I convinced them that I did indeed reside in Gunbarrel and they told me it would take them an hour or more to deliver it. Then, when it finally arrived (soggy), they knocked on the door and left it on the ground and ran away fast, I assume so as to not have to look me in the eyes. 2. My husbands teriyaki chicken tasted like a microwave dinner. 3. I ordered the house salad with ginger dressing. It was $6, but it was tiny. The dressing tasted like it was from a grocery store shelf. The lettuce was wilted from placing it on top of hot food in the bag. 4. One of the items ordered was chicken satay. It was raw tasting and did not have a grilled flavor, or ANY flavor other than raw chicken. It was white and mushy and definitely looked like frozen chicken with fake 'grill' lines sprayed onto it, which tasted like it was then microwaved. Absolutely disgusting. I had to get out my pots and pans and pan sear it to even be remotely edible; the exact thing that I was trying to avoid having to do in the first place. I ended up throwing most of it to the pets. I am still hungry, feel like a sucker who wasted hard earned money. I will never stray from you ever again, Chez Thuy! You never let me down with your delicious flavors, high quality and large portions. This place was a joke. Not only was the food quality very low, but the customer service was severely lacking. It probably doesn't need to be said, but we will never throw our money away on this place again.
Your food is good, when accessible. But 9.9 times out of 10, your Online In House ordering system fails just before the payment link. So customers gets all the way through the ordering process, and then are unable to place the order. I’ve called twice about this and the result has never changed. Also someone who rarely orders take out, I find it frustrating.
(They serve hot food in cancer causing #5 plastics, check the bottom of their soup/curry containers for yourself) This restaurant has recently taken a drastic decline in quality and service. We have been ordering from here for years and it now is arriving cold, orders completely wrong, and they have cut back on their deals/cut corners on their delivery materials, now the plastic containers are consisting of harsh chemicals. We will obviously not order from here any longer, and if you care for your health or want anything on time you should not either.

Family owned / family run, Yurihana is a neighborhood restaurant with polite, unpretentious service and excellent food made with fresh, delicious ingredients. The sushi lunch specials are hands down the best deal in Boulder County! I’ve been eating at Yurihana for about 20 years, and they’ve never disappointed me.
Years ago it was one of my favorite Chinese restaurants.. But last nights meals i ordered were absolutely disappointing. There was about 4 peas in the unseasoned fried rice. The lomain was jus as bland and tasted just as poorly as the rice.. The meat was not seasoned all in both meals. This place use to have flavor and was worth the price. But I'll be going elsewhere from here out...
Ordered sushi (Denver, California and shrimp tempura rolls) and general chicken for the family. I ordered online and picked it up. Order was ready at the time requested. Employee was very friendly and made sure everything was correct and it was. I requested no wasabi and gluten free soy sauce. Food was hot and delicious! Yurihana is a favorite for my family. Been going there since 2012. Never had a bad experience.
This was not a good sushi experience (at all). I came in by myself and ordered the chef special and a couple of orders of sashimi. What came out was a few pieces of sashimi (total, including the chef special). All were on piles of dry shredded carrots- no garnish, no presentation. While I was eating the staff were dragging tables next to me (metal on concrete) and the whole time I had a vibe of ‘you’re not welcome’. Dumpy and awful- don’t go.
