Sophie was so helpful and patient with our large table! We appreciate all the hard work you do Sophie! Thanks for making my nanas birthday great. Hope to have you again!
This place is clearly popular. Unfortunately we didn't see why.Atmosphere is cute, lots to look at. People were nice but not notably so. Service was speedy given how busy it was.But the food... The food was lackluster in every way except presentation. My hot chocolate had only a hint of chocolate flavor and was the consistency of plain water. The cinnamon and icing were generous on the giant cinnamon roll but the bread was hard and tasted maybe stale or just the entirely wrong kind of dough. The potatoes were overly seasoned with an unusual flavor for breakfast potatoes, might have been ok if it wasn't more seasoning flavor than potato flavor. The pancakes were fine, pretty fluffy and taste as they should. My ham, cheese and egg croissant was huge and looked so yummy but was somehow devoid of flavor.
I had breakfast at the Walnut Cafe today because it was the pick up point for my day tour. The outside seating was lovely. My server Jack was attentive and so helpful when I asked for his food suggestions. He recomended the South Side omlette. I followed his advise, and I could not be more satisfied. Fresh, flavorful ingredients. The best french toast of my trip as a side was perfect. Also, get the blueberry cornbread. They also have a full coffee bar. I got the Walnutty Latte (many nut flavors) and it was so good! 10/10 recommend this place.
DROP YOUR ERRANDS AND VISIT THIS PLACE!I am from a different state and I WISH they had this here.I went there one day, the next day I went again. The French toasts with almonds are a must, I have made them myself three times at home after eating theirs. The dill sauce, I wish they start selling it ?I loveeee this place! A must try!
We’ve been coming to Walnut Cafe for months every single weekend with our learning pup, Otis, and the staff has always been accommodating, oh so sweet, and loving to our little hand full! Outside of that, the food is phenomenal, the service is elite, and everyone that dines there as well are friendly, kind, and it’s just all around good vibes. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re local to Boulder or visiting!
Best breakfast! Best vibe!
Staff was curious, helpful, and covid compliant. Food was good, it gives you a diner breakfast (which I love) in a coffee shop! Coffee and tea are beautiful combinations that you can enjoy with art on the walls. I spent two hours here and never incense felt rushed or like they were wanting to turn our table. This is a great place to bring your friends and enjoy your brunch!Thank you for being so kind and helpful! I will definitely be back. ?
Visiting from Texas and currently waiting on our orders now and without even tasting the food I give the service 5 stars. It’s a Saturday and really busy but all the staff is hustling to get the tables cleared and seated. The wait was only 15 minutes bc they were so efficient. Everyone was super friendly! We had an “encounter” with a passerby and the owner wanted to make sure we were not being harassed and even gave the table a slice of pie on the house!
I came in hungry and left full and happy!! I ordered the chicken wrap and it was delicious. Not a fan of the potato chip side. The Walnut Cafe had its own little vibe and atmosphere, I will be back.
Very good options and tasty. One concern is that no matter which location I visit it seems like the plated food is just barley warm. Plates need to be heated so the food doesn't go Luke warm. Clearly it's been cooked, but ...
