One of my all time favorite venues. Great sound, great music, awesome staff
Amazing medium sized venue with very thoughtful touches such as bag/purse hooks everywhere, convenient drink surfaces so you don’t have to hold your glass the entire show, a semicircular bar with super efficient staff, the list goes on and on. The sound is fantastic and the lighting design is on point. The layout makes for an intimate feeling show while providing multiple vantage points for people of all heights and sizes. I feel that this is a nearly perfect music venue.
Went to the Fox Theatre with a bunch of friends for the first time to support a local band (Mountain Rose) our buddy is in. We had an amazing time!! Not only was the theatre filled with kind staff, the drinks were great too! The sound inside the theatre was well engineered, and the lights made for a great compliment to the great bands that night!
This long running musical venue is perfect for the neighborhood that it's in. It's relatively small and intimate. I have seen many shows here and they were all memorable. There is alcohol available for purchase if you are over the age of 21, as well as free water. I am not aware if they have any food. Every spot from the floor to the balconies has excellent views. I would highly recommend to see a musical show here.
On 5/28 my girlfriend was touched extremely inappropriately by the African American man running ID security checks at the front. Seeing this I became upset and brought it to his attention to which he replied “you all can leave.” Many others in the line saw this happen. I was extremely disturbed as well as my girlfriend and decided to leave the venue. Never will I be returning to be treated this way.

Been going to shows here for 22 years. Still the best music venue in Boulder with better beer on tap than they had in Y2K. Central to the neighborhood in a very cool way too.

The theatre area is amazing! It's a fairly small location, so it makes for pretty intimate concerts, the acoustics were awesome, and the lighting was fairly good! The floor kind of slants so that everyone gets a pretty good view, since tall people seem to always migrate towards the front haha. The only complaint was that a lot of people tend to spill their beer and the smell can get a bit overwhelming, but it's not too big of a deal :)
