Mushroom taco was fantastic! Highly recommend. They make tortillas in house and they were really good. Service was great and extremely fast. Got our food literally within 5 mins and it was hot and fresh.
Nothing can beat their $2.50 tacos every TUESDAY! Seriously to die for!! Baja Fish is my fav ?? also, the owner Peter is so personable, can’t wait to come back.
Our experience started on a busy Memorial Day evening. We were shown a seat by an obviously very busy hostess and met Peter our waiter. He explained all he options with gusto and we selected 4 tacos, chips, salsas, and two margaritas. He tacos were excellent, with fresh soft corn tortillas and piles of fillings. The chips were fresh and hot, the salsas flavorful.We are lightweight drinks, and the margaritas are big - full pints. The mezcal was smokey and pleasant. The house was sweet and not thick or cloy like mixes. We were very into all the people watching and having fun about halfway through.We returned two days later and they were much less busy. The food was the same great experience, and so was Peter, but they are not cheap. It could be hard to come here frequently and order margaritas each time.
This place is amazing! Love the street tacos I love all their tacos and their Margaritas are very good as well. Taco Tuesday is a must. Prices are amazing. Staff is awesome. ? ? ? ? ? thank you so much!
One of the most fantastic spots for tacos in Boulder.Everything we’ve had here is fresh and delicious, and the service has always been excellent.Our crew had guacamole and the salsa trio (fresca, verde, and pineapple), pork belly bowl, carnitas bowl, and tacos (mushroom and carnitas) - plus pint-sized margaritas and a strawberry lemonade.The bowls are just enough to fill you up, the tacos are almost too filled to eat as tacos.
The tacos are a lot more legit than most chain taco places around.The only disappointment is that they don't cook the tortillas enough. Mine was still raw and fell apart when held as a result. This happened with my fish taco and pork belly taco. One, my pollo taco,was barely toasted. The tortilla should be more toasty brown/charred so they are actually cooked and don't fall apart when held due to the juices of the taco. It shows a rushed taco prepping process. Just one more minute for the tortilla to cook would make a HUGE difference. I recommend requesting your tortilla be better toasted when ordering. I will, moving forward. I'll also send it back if I find the tortilla still raw. spending money out these days demands better quality.
Tacos made in house -- they do the whole thing, starting from corn kernels. Excellent, attentive service, even when they were busy on a Friday night. Great drinks, and the tacos were inventive and delicious. Came for dinner one night, back for lunch a few days later. Still feel like there was more on the menu to try.
This was our first time eating here and everyone was so welcoming and the service was incredibly fast! Our water glasses only went empty because we didn’t ask for them to be refilled when offered. The food was amazing and the homemade guac was phenomenal! Will be returning and telling friends about it!
Underwhelmed since this place had such high reviews. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Got burrito and bowl but both were kind of lackluster with no strong or developed flavors. They do have a really great salsa selection tho!
