Incredibly good sushi, excellent atmosphere, great service, and reasonable prices. I will definitely be back any time I'm in Boulder!
Just a little pricier than normal sushi in the area, and the guy behind the counter asked us if we could crowd next to other bar patrons in order to avoid gaps in the seating. Halfway through the meal people sat in our exact same place, apparently without issue. Also the dessert menu had the wrong prices - everyone is raising their prices, we get it, just print a new menu!
The cutest, most fun sushi place in Boulder. Sushi is delicious and staff is amazing. Sushi Zanmai is always a good time ?
Great trendy place. Very happy and energetic vibe. Loved that it was off the main strip. We tried collar (recommended by our server) that we were told isn’t available often, it was delicious and full of flavor, presentation for the collar and sushi was fantastic. The rolls we received were not our favorite however they were prepared well and all very fresh with a tasty twist of flavor and spices and the edamame (medium bowl is a generous portion) was delicious.
I just enjoyed the most delicious shrimp wonton, pork dumplings, veggie sushi and other apps that the incredibly generous owners of Sushi Zanmai provided to the Boulder international Film Festival youth program. I'll be headed there soon... thanks SZ!
The atmosphere of the place was welcoming. I order both the appetizer and sushi main plate. It was a great experience trying out different items on the menu.
I just didn't expect what I walked into.It was super awesome neat art try and spot the hideen godzillas! The food was on spot the all around super great my only complaint the seasoned edamame was a little too slippery? the rainbow roll and fire cracker roll was a nice variety try the sake snow beauty with it.
Came here for a birthday, great food! Odd they don't have a menu with pics as we had a couple friends join us who have never had sushi before so had no idea what they were doing. It's always nice to have a visual reference. We made the best of it. I highly recommend a menu with phi os of each roll. It really helps!
Such a cute spot off of pearl street. Loved how authentic it was and our server was very helpful. Only complaint was that the spicy tuna roll was too spicy, the spice overtook the flavor. I still want to come back and try more :)
The worst sushi ever. All rice. No fish. Airport sushi that will get you sick. Hated it. Do not come here.
