If you’re looking for a true Edomae Zushi meal in Boulder look no further. I’m so happy to have found this gem. Super friendly/ knowledgeable staff, and the sushi Chef is true master.
Love this place. Best sushi I've had in Colorado, hands down, particularly the saba. I make it a point to come here for special occasions and I've never been disappointed
Mediocre at best. Ordered Chirashi and the amount of fish is small and not that fresh. Also, they calculate recommended tips post tax. I’ve been to Japan multiple times and this is worse than the cheapest ones you will find at converter belt sushi restaurants.
If you’re looking for an authentic sushi experience, this is the place! My bf and I love to go here, it’s like a little gem that not many know of. We used to go all the way down to Denver for Sushi Den but ever since we found Tashkent, we’ve been going here. I think it’s comparable if not better than sushi den. The sashimi selection as well as the other cooked dishes are are so tasty. We’ve tried quite a few things from the menu and it always tastes great. The staff is super nice and welcoming too! I recommend Tasuki ?
My friends took me out for birthday sushi and it was the most epic sushi experience I've ever had. Intimate and honorable service. They had allll the best stuff. All the fancy tunas, uni and monkfish liver etc etc. Even if you don't eat sushi, they offer all kinds of wild treats. Top notch.
We came in here on a Saturday night & were able to sit right away. We started with gyozas and miso soup. The gyozas were cooked perfectly with just a bit of crunch. For our meal we got fatty tuna, yellowtail, and salmon nigiri and 2 shrimp tempura rolls. The nigiri were amazing. All the cuts of fish were huge and fresh. Each one melted in your mouth. The shrimp tempura was delicious as well. The employees were also very sweet. This definitely has to be one of our favorite sushi spots in the Boulder area!
Highly, highly recommend this cute and cozy sushi joint. Loved the atmosphere and the service was phenomenal. Can’t recommend the caterpillar roll and the toro nigiri enough. Seriously cannot wait to come back and try more!!
Lovely find in Boulder. Everything we had was great and the service was excellent! I really enjoyed the flounder—I recommend trying at least a few items from their chef recommendations.
The wait staff is perhaps the highlight of this place. I don't really expect the best of Asian food in Colorado, specifically Boulder...but I find this place being better than any on Pearl Street or Broadway. We really appreciated the gentle hospitality, and a reservation is recommended. I come from a family who runs restaurants and this place did an exceptional job checking in on patrons throughout service. ? We came at 6:45pm with a reservation on a Friday, and the dining area was full despite a snow storm outside. Appeared like they were ready to flip tables at about 7:45/8.Spicy Bluefin tuna chef special was great.
The service was amazing and so friendly. Sushi was amazing. We had a great time. Definitely recommend.
